Nancy, is was great meeting you at Skids last weekend, Meeting you was the highlight of my trip, Seeing those pictures of Mark through the years made me feel like I had know him for years, thank you so much for going out of your way to come and see all of us.......... You and Mark did a fine job of raising Kenny, and just by talking to Kenny for the short time I can see that Mark was more that just a father but a friend and mentor to him...........I hope to get to your area in the near future and learn more about Mark, and who knows maybe Kenny can go for a ride with us.......... Thanks again and Gob Bless.

But next time there are 3 things that will be different for me........ 1. Wont need help with the tent.......Yall taught me good 2. I will keep my hands in my packets around Ramona and her camera... 3 I will bring my own water gun to defend myself against the little Skidmore's..........Lol Cant wait till Part II!!:thumbsup:

Wingman and I just happened to see one on the way home from Skids on Monday afternoon. We were clipping along about 75-80 mph and all of a sudden this Thing pulls up next to me from out of nowhere and zips right then left and right again, before I could key my mike to tell Wingman, he was already past Jamie, leaving him to wonder, "What the hell was that?!?!"...........Changed lanes quicker than anything I have ever seen..........that thing was flying.Sorta looked like a 3-wheeler going backwards..............:scared:

Thanks Skid, Leslie, Josh & Jordan, I had a fantastic time, we didnt let the rain dampen our spirits, the rides were fantastic,the food was great and the fellowship was the best part, still met some new people and saw some old friends...........Looking forward to next year. Jamie, Wes and I made it back at 6:00 pm Monday evening. We had rain on and off on Sunday, we rode the Blue Ridge Parkway back to Cherokee, NC. Wanted to ride the Dragon but, we ran out of time,so we had to by pass it.......... Thanks again Skid and Leslie, you were great host and did a fantastic job.

Help, he is the only person I know of who has not only laid his bike down twice but did it on both sides in each incident........something tells me he might need to slow down a little so when he goes down it will slide to a stop before flipping over on its other side............ And I dont thing any amount of black paint or any other would help Todd at this late stage of life.......:rotf:

Less than 12 hours before we depart for WVSI, and they wont go by quick enuff, just hope I can stay super busy at work so the time will fly, cause at 2:30 sharp I am out of ther for 4 days of fun riding in the mtns of WV.............looks like it might be a wet ride up there and Skid just advised me might be a little wet up there too.......so what.......Im getting away for a much needed short vacation on the bike,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,:banana::dancefool::sign woo hoo:

Sorry to hear you parted with your RSV, but its what makes you happy. I moved down to a V Star 1300, but I kept my 1st Gen. You might miss all the goodies on the RSV...........

It will be a great time, I didnt expect a whole lot to show at the first Vogel since it was less than 2 full days, but boy was I shocked......Im sure the poll will be proved wrong...........regardless it will be a great time. Thanks to you and Leslie for opening up your:dancefool::dancefool::sign woo hoo::thumbsup2: yard for camping and such.........I cant wait, 2 more workdays and Im off........Charlene really wanted to make it, but just not possible with the daycare and her medical problems.........hopefully to be better soon for our cruise.............CYA real soon

The best route to go is to buy the Kreme kit at a local dealer and use it as directed to clean and treat the tank............kit runs about $25.00-30.00, includes everything you need to do the tank. Make sure to follow the directions precisely. It works very well, I have used it many times without problems.

.Skid, it will be a great time, with all the people coming from VR, cant help but be great..........I will enjoy this one more than Vogel cause I can enjoy and not have to worry about anything else for a change................:cool10: Just got back from Jamie's and we got our route all planned out, his son is also joining us for this one on Paula's bike, his first long ride.........Looking forward to seeing everyone again, its been almost a year since I have seen some.........We be leaving about 6:00 pm Thrusday evening. Yeah, he sure put on some good ones, but I hear he wanted to do something special for his bride, so the rally is going to wait till 09. And I hear from a good source, the bike isnt sitting, its getting a well deserved makeover, says nobody will know its the same bike when its finished............and as for jumping ship, isnt he still on a Star?............at least didnt go HD on us.......:rotf:

Yep, now you know what we mean by this being one big happy family. Havent met a VentureRider yet I didnt like, all great people, I have met many an experienced the same at every event I have been too, Next year or next time you will likely have double or more attend........Good job!!!
