  7. Hey, JB, Nice ridin with you today. Forgot to mention. Be sure to check the back side of the fuse box for any corrosion or looseness on the fuse connectors.

  10. What'd I miss, I didn't get to push the red button? Whoops, just remembered, don't want to push the red one, it launches the missles.. I think everyone crosses over that thin gray line buried in the sand every once in a while.
  11. I think for it to work you would have to look like the Michelin tire guy when it went off.
  12. Turn the handlebars all the way to the left and look on the right side begind the headlight and you will see a gold looking philips. that's the horz. Its at about the same place as the knob but on the other side.
  13. Leonard, You are still with us after that comment ? :rotf:
  14. The antenna for the Zumo is actually the XM radio also from what I understand.
  15. The crash bars are just under the lower front fairings and just in front of the saddlebags with the red reflectors on it http://www.starmotorcycles.com/assets/content/images/600/08VentureS_gray_6_827dd691.jpg
  16. Mine has been dropped 4 or 5 times. The crash bars always stop it. Now I read once where one of these genius magazine writers dropped one an stood up on the high side foot peg, This, of course sent the bike past the crash bar. DUH... I guess he wanted to be sure it did not get back up once he dropped it.
  17. They really are great bikes even with their minor flaws. I don't think I would want any other bike right now as its got everything I want at a price I can afford. If I had another 33k laying around then I might think about another bike but that ain't the case. I run a lot of stuff and its just a juggling act to keep everything powered when its cold and I have the heated vest and gloves on.
  18. Squidley of course
  19. Doesn't Brad wear shirts like that?
  20. Off a Police motorcycle. :rotf:
  21. You cannot push start a bike with FI if it has a dead battery. On the other hand Carbs don't need power to supply fuel to the engine to start.
  22. How'd you get the laptop on the bike :rotf:
  23. Seems I remember having to take the left lower fairing apart to remove it all the way.
  24. I have the black riders and passsenger seat that has Venture on the riders seat. I paid a hundred for it a couple of years ago. I don't have the passenger back rest though. That was used on my RoadSofa. I'll send him an email just in case.
  25. Glad you made it back OK. We tried changing the road signs but guess you took a different road back.
