    If I have to I slow as much as I can and try to hit it straight on if possible. I do not know if there is a correct way to do it but Ive had the best luck that way.

    Avon,have ridden in rain,wet snow..never a problem. E3S on now just as good as Avon other than a little noisier.(And I mean a little).Both hold excellent in rain.

I went last year,not really a rally in my opinion but sure does bring back alot of memories seeing all the old motorcycles riding around and on display. I dont live far from there so I will be going to check out what bikes are there this year.

    The reason I joined this sight years ago when I bought my Venture is because MOST Yamaha mechanics know nothing about the Venture.I have done all the work myself and warranty was honered on the few things I needed done under warranty..most of the time they gave me the parts and I put them on.

    I hope its on my week off next year. I will definitely be there. But I do know how it is,luck of the draw. Sounds like you guys had a ball.Maybe next year for sure! Tom

    IF its a dealer telling you that on the carb sync...Good Luck..First thing which you probably have done is make sure the choke knob is pushed in all the way,Second if it is, Post for one of our members in your area asking if they have a carb sync tool,then it will happen..A little ice cream,some cases , a beer gets a lot of help on here! Tom

    If only I were closer...BUT Next September,1st week before or actual 1st week headed that way on a 2 week MC ride to the Northwest and down PCH and across the midwest so I WILL look you up when we get close!

    IF this Texas Stampede doesnt make we are having our Texas meet at Big Bend National Park in November.Some Houston riders are leaving November 12th,I personally will leave 11/13 EARLY from Blanco,Texas ( close to San Antonio,TX) along with some others that are staying the night at my house.     Protecting themslves legally..Have you read Max weight on a harley or wing? I think its an escape goat. My Opinion now and thats all I am going on.
