As far as I have seen SilvrT any bike that has aftermarket pipes is going to have some pop on decel..I may be totally wrong but I have yet to see one that doesnt..Mine had a slight pop on decel before I went back to my stock pipes even using the 44K so dont expect a miracle there, however you WILL see a smoothing out of the engine AFTER you run a can thru..usually the next day..thats been my experience. I have no interest or reason to push this stuff,I just have used it the last few years and suggested it to a few on here that I know. Tom

Ponch and Goose are right,I have used 44K along time and have swered by it but after Goose pulled my carbs apart and it was so clean I will now tell ANYONE,USE IT! It is the ONLY product I have ever used that I saw a BIG difference after I ran a full can thru. I have been quiet about saying anything about it I guess because I was afraid it was my feeble mind thinking it was this good. I buy it off Ebay usually for about 15-16$$$ a can. There is 2 cases on there now for $750.00 . That is 15.62 a can with shipping to me $15.87 a can...good price but lot of money to tie up. Folks my carbs were as Goose said, they looked brand new inside. It also cleans the carbon from the valves,(Coking) and Ive seen this 1st hand on auto engines. My 09 Venture doesn't run right
Tom replied to midnite's topic in Royal Star Venture Tech Talk ('99 - '13)
IF you are not winding it up you are going to think it is sick..WIND THIS THING UP. Hit the rev limiter a few times and see where your power is. You can run up to 93-96 in 3rd gear if you need quick accelleration.I dont get out of 4th till about 65-75 on normal riding unless on a straight away and I dont need to accellerate fast.- 19 replies

My experience has been the steering head nut needs a slight adjustment..Yamaha says its OK but thats a crock,I finally adjusted mine and it is great now. Write ups are in the Tech section and VERY siimple to do yourself. YES it is under warranty but dealers DO NOT knoow what they are doing..that is MOST dealers.

If you just changed oil chances are you overfilled it and it WILL leak out the tubes. My bike does not leak IF I keep it not quite to the half way mark. IF It is at the half way mark IT WILL LEAK ON MY BIKE.

And This I totally agree with.

OK,OK,OK enough already! I dont need these gauges or the kit.........I ALREADY HAVE THEM!!! LOL And as far as hard to Install? NOT A PROBLEM....Just live close to Ponch, before I knew it they appeared on my bike!

Not a concern with mine. It and others ive heard have a ticking sound when first started then goes away. Had it at a Yamaha dealer once and they said not a concern..for what thats worth.

I had ordered the whole Corbin seat set up.Initially the wife HATED the hard seat but loved the backrest. I put the stock seat back on and left the backrest and She said it rode to far up on the back and was very uncomfortable with the stock seat....I finally took the seat(Corbin) to a seat upholstery place and they padded her back seat to her specs and left the backrest alone.Shes happy now and I am happy with my hard seat.
