While we were laying in bed in the dark this morning, it was that moment of silence before the busy week begins. My lovely wife rolled over and cuddled up to me and said, why don't we both call in and clear our schedules and ride the bike north through the Ozarks and grab a bite at Lamberts Cafe? I thought about her seductive offer and.....turned it down due to a couple of client projects I had scheduled at work. AM I ON THE EDGE OF CRAZY????? After 30 years of marriage I'm turning down riding the bike???? Is this a sign of things to come with old age? Am I gonna start turning down other key things she offers??? I'm worried about myself.

I had to bail out of work today, been having pain and discomfort under my ribcage. It has been going on for 3-4 days and getting worse, I didnt think it was my heart, I just had a stress test a couple of months ago and everything was fine, Dr. seems to believe its my gall bladder, sent me for an ultra sound. Dont have the results yet, but I hope they get back to me quickly, Every time if flares up it gets worse and last longer.......and I had a work day scheduled to work on the 83, we were gonna put the motor back in the frame and start putting her back in one piece, now it may be on hold for a little while.........sometimes life really SUCKS!!!!

I'm posting a link for the ride across Maryland which is a ride from Howard County Maryland to Ocean City. This is scheduled for June 5th through the 7th and is a great 150 mile ride with lots of festivities once you get there. This ride is scheduled every year and is a fundraiser for Breast Cancer. If anyone wants to ride, let me know and maybe we can register as a group, make a showing and ride together. It would be great to meet a lot of you on here. wow.....i was in shock...get this letter from missouri DOC.open it and start reading that his first parole hearing is already scheduled......Im thinking "how screwed up can the justice system be to be doing this already" Im about to totally flip out........I finally got to the date and had to reread it 3 times to make sure i was seeing correctly... Scheduled for sometime in oct of 2021......!! this means he will not do less than 13 yrs if you count the year he did while waiting for trial etc. Ok so now im liking this!!!...... my worst fears were that he would serve 6 or 8 out of the 18 he got. The DA's office gave us some stats several months ago on what percent they usually serve.......so this is definately good news. hmmm guess i better get started on my speach for the hearing so he stays put longer......:rotf: Just wanted to share this tidbit with you all since youve been here thru all this with us..

Next week this time I will be in Memphis, Tn. hopefully having lunch with a very large group of Ventureriders then off to St. Jude to give them some money and take a tour of the facility. Hope to see a lot of bikes and members there. Be careful. Our tour is scheduled for 1:00 pm, so I should be there about 11:00 am or there abouts.......I will try not to be late again.................. Fly J Truck Stop. W. Memhis, Tn.
