  1. Tires..Dunlop Elite3s or Avon Venom in stock sizes. ONLY 2in my opinion for the RSV. Glad you like the bike..everytime I think I want something new I go for a test ride, come home ride mine and ask WHY?
  2. And I have been whining about paying $254.00 Annually....I will clean up the tears nows.
  3. A FEW have had good luck with Metzlers on these bikes...NOT ME.... 1700 miles and chunked rubber..Not worth my wife nor my life to go with them EVER again. Good Luck.
  4. Thanks for sharing your experience also. I am going to bookmark this post as I KNOW I will forget if it happens again. I was doing all this in the middle of the night and luckily stumbled on how to delete these unnecessary files somewhere on the net. If I were more skilled in writing it up I would post it under tips here on this website but probably the Zumo Forums has it..I just didnt think of that as this is my major source of Info! Bottom line is IF anyone runs into this problem,If Im home I will walk you thru it on the phone if necessary.
  5. Just revisiting this thread after I downloaded the 2010 maps last night. Mine did the same thing,It said there was not enough room to Install all the new updates so after I explore different avenues I saw an article from Garmin that said IF I plug in the unit to computer, let it pair, then go to Start:computer:look for the Garmin drive:click it,then click voice files, then delete the languages you DO NOT USE,(do not delete your native Language),then you will have room for the entire N America update. SUCCESS.Hope this helps whoever comes on this problem updating there Garmin....BTW, I purchased the Lifetime Updates..Took appx 4 hours to download to my PC,(running Windows 7 and I-7 processor) then appx 1 hour to update to the GPS. Tom
  6. OHHHHH OK, Well I thought you were single..been looking for you a good woman..guess I best stop looking..(Dont tell the Bride!) Good luck with the headsets, now next Big Bend trip you can hear everything going on if you get the CB setup too..then again it maybe best to just have your lovely wife to talk with!

  8. with that many miles I would do both..PCW racing has the kit and 30 minutes and you are done.
  9. Of course accommodations are included. Tom

(This was 5 years ago and still holds up well.)

    Gel Seat Pad

If anyone that has a Corbin Seat and waiting for it to "Break In" well mine hasnt in the 5 years Ive had it . I found at Wal Mart yesterday a Gel seat pad with a waterproof fabric on the outside cover for only $19.00 It fits perfect on the seat and the "Waffle" design of the gel inside is very comfortable...I think I have found my cheaper alternative to the ones offered on most MC accessory sites. The wrapping on the pad says RelaXzen Gel Seat Cushion. It is in the Automotive section but I cant find any Info on the internet about it. Usually these things are an item Walmart will bulk buy on then htey are gone FYI. Tom
  16. Mine were missing too and I had thought Yamaha put the straps on there for a reason instead of bolts but BuddyRich saw it and put in bolts and said the bolts are suppose to be there. I wish I wouldve caught it before my warranty ran out as my holes are cracked also. Tom
  17. The water will read higher at times..It will go up t around 220 if I remember correct and higher on really hot days..dont worry thoughit is normal.
  18. Are you there to stay? If so we need a meet and eat there..Tom
  19. As someone who is color challenged..and I really am not sensitive at all about it, I think I can answer the question on liking the color blind guys as spotters...We adapt to certain things IE: Deer hunting,My dad asks constantly why I can spot deer so easily when we go hunting..My opinion is he looks for the deer, color or shape,I look for ANY movement then focus in where I saw the movement.I can see movement that most people cannot see. As far as Traffic lights I dont have a clue what position they are in,Its simple to me..The green light is "white" the yellow is VERY bright and the Red is very dull in color. I didnt even know I was color blind until I was in high school.
  20. Hey,be sensitive..you know Im a sensitive guy! Im color blind..The green light is WHITE,the Yellow light is very bright and the red light is very dull looking! I do have fun at physical time..I cant follow the "dots"on the colorblind chart but I can use process of elimination on the what color is what as far as SOLID colors! Remember..SENSITIVE...I may have to sing about it again. BTW. 35 years driving and never a ticket so basically we adapt and see the lights and can tell them apart...just dont see them the same color as you guys that are not normal.
  21. If you need help let us know..
  22. B2,Glad all is well...Get well soon, that trike needs a little riding and B2Mom may take her out if you dont...By the way,Id like to see a picture of that banner I swapped with ya from the Arkansas Rally..where did you put it?
  23. The kit says $69.95 but it may have gone up to $79.95
  24. Here is the link...Need the spring and extra disc and gasket listed in this link http://www.pcwracing.net/catalog.htm
  25. Herb,I doubt they will put it in as I believe the best way to do it is by the removal of the very most inner half disc and discarding it and replacing with another full disc. IF they dont want to do this Ill bet ya I can get the "Master Tech" to come up with me and we can do it in about 15 minutes or so. Let us know,Tom (Yep I have done it on mine and it is a much stronger clutch)
