  13. Quit that nasty habit over 20 years ago. Used to say that quitting is easy, I done it hundreds of times!! Wasn't until I turned it over to Jesus Christ that it actually worked...

  19. You're awake already? Me too! Just head on down to Canadian Tire and buy a can of Stabul and follow the directions on the can. Also fill the tank with premium gas. Over time gas deteriorates, so using premium will give you gas that is still good next spring. Other people will probably suggest adding some seafoam to a tank of premium gas and run for about 10 minutes or so to get some in the carbs. It's also a good idea, if possible, to run the engine for about 5 - 10 minutes every couple of weeks or so...
  20. Just as crazy as ever!!!
  21. Hmmmm, looks like even with the extra hour we won't be able to get back in time. You missed one heck of a great party last nite! You would have fit right in...
  22. Yes, as long as you know which is the + and - lines. Cars usually have a horn relay so you should be good to go...
  23. Hey, how many Ventureriders does it take to store a motorcycle for the winter???
  24. Penut Butter and Jelly sandwiches. Of course, when she said she wanted PB&J the members thought she had some desires for Phil aka PB&J and could not understand why she would want to infringe on Rawhide's territory. Perhaps we should send Joannah a PM and tell her...
  25. Yah!! Now that we have established that your battery is OK under load, now I'm thinking brushes in the starter. With no mechanical load, i.e. bench test, the starter will work OK but with a load, or installed, the extra load will cause more current loss across the brushes resulting in less actual voltage to the starter windings resulting in slow turnover... Get a 4 brush starter out of a vmax, etc.
