  1. You wont be kicking yourself in the arse when you can pack that much more for the trip in those bags. The MKII has the best volume in the bags and trunk of all the Ventures, just takes a bit of getting used to for the maintenance.
  2. Us too, landing at noon in Cleveland
  3. I should hope not KennyBoo!!

Sorry you wont be there Tom, was looking forward to seeing you again. Good on ya for being stand up though and being there for your friends
  13. It seems to be kind of hit and miss for them here lately. I quit using them as I had a similar issue with very late arrival. I had good luck with them early on in '06/'07 but have heard more less than positive results now. Last tires I bought were from Jake Wilson and they were delivered fast and at a good price.
  14. Not that it's a great concellation, but atleast when she did go, she was surrounded by the ones that loved her. This will help you with your grieving, I know I was very glad that I was able to be there as I witnessed a few of my grandparents going to the other side. All the best to your family....
  15. Carl...get your mind out of the gutter!!
  16. Anytime work on the carbs has been done, a sync should be done. I usually do 2 or 3 a year on my scoots, it's easy an fairly quick procedure.Atleasy once a year is agood rule of thumb if you dont experience any issues.
  17. I KNOW there will be others with us on that statement....you loose
  18. You could do that, but I would make sure that the receptacle could handle the extra current. I would definitely go with a larger fused wire from the battery and run it into a relay where you could switch the power. That way you could run a small tire pump or such off it.
  19. Lonna and I were laying in bed last night and I said to her "Annie must be going out of her mind right about now!" I figured you would be leaving tomorrow, have a great flight and we will see you at MD .....were excited too!!
  20. Outstanding, this will be an epic trip to remember Annie!
  21. I know some members can feel when their carbs are out of sync with vibrations in the handlebars. I would 1st do a carb sync and see how that works. Then I would go over the bike well and check for loose hardware to make sure nothing is loose or shaking

    #1 again

Very sad statistic to be #1 in, I hope you and Abagail can get out of there soon my friend.
  23. 2 people agree, close enough to unanimous for me
  24. Your such a bonehead Margaret!
  25. One of the fuse blocks is under the side cover on the left side of the bike. I dont recall right off my head what fuses are in there. The 2nd fuse block is under the right side lower (if my memory serves me right) and I believe the fuse to the 12 volt plug is under there. Another thing to remember is that the 12 volt plug is only a couple amp fuse, 5 amps I believe. You can't use something in it that sucks the juice or it will blow consistantly.
