Heres how I run the rear shock I'm 280 lbs shock set at about 40 psi 2 up no gear shock set at about 45 psi 2 up loaded with gear 50 to 55 psi depending upon how much gear. With a trailer, 2 up setting and use the trailers suspension to haul the weight for the most part, shock set at 45 to 50 psi.....your mileage may vary

Thats exactly what I would mention also. Matter of fact you could go to tractor supply and get a syringe for giving horses shots and hook a clear hose on it and attach it to the stock bleeder. Fill it with brake fluid and shove it through.

Who "Has the Venture Rider International Banner??
Squidley replied to Condor's topic in Watering Hole
Yes that was a STAR Banner I brought it out there and it's in Freebirds garage. On another note...the banner in your pic Jack, the one at the '08 Kitchener Rally is in my garage. I came home and pulled it out and all I need to know is where to send it to. -
You Wingers are out of your minds!

Kitchener Rally '08 Thats the one I hade made about 5 years ago. -
When I had the one made back in '05 for Vogel I believe it cost me about $125. I will be very didligent to remember to check for it when i get home tonight....I promise.

See there Dana, folks just falling all over themselves to help out!

We had the STAR banner that Freebird was given, the Ft. Collins one that Allan Hildebrandt won in the raffle, and the Black VR banner along with the US and Canadian flags that Leadwolf sent to Wyoming. Those are the only ones I know of and I'll check at the house for the VR banner.

Dana....offer is still open to come to the house in Conroe and we'll get it done...

I haven't looked in the garage for the VR banner, I think I might have it. I'll try to remember to look for it when I get home today, damn rememberer isn't what it used to be -
I would still work on that, get ahold of the regional rep and tell him what happened. You have nothing to loose by stating the facts. Even if they will give you a new pump and you put it on is still a reasonable option.

Bob, If the bike is still under warranty then I would have Yamaha replace it. Even if your just out of warranty sometimes you get lucky and the dealer will still replace it under warranty, it's a known issue.
-
Likely excuse, your gonna get blamed for it no matter what the circumstances of it's disappearance!
-
Yeah, it's been missing for a while now, I think Kreg had something to do with it!

Thats a Hopnel Bib isn't it? Have you thought about contacting Hopnel and asking them where they get their material from?
-
I do like the looks of it and would love to ride one, but the price is outrageous!

Not silly Walt, when your heart becomes attached to anything, and it has to go to the next life, we will always grieve. We grieve for ourselves, and not for the ones that have passed. They are in a better place and we know that, but we are selfish in the fact that we want them for all times. The saddest day I remember was when my Dad had to put his 17 year old Beagle down. I have only seen him cry 2 times in my life, and that was one of them. They will all be there waiting for us when we cross over....all the best to you and the family Walt.

We almost ended up in that area by Chattanooga, Cleveland to be exact. I love TN and if I would have found work there with TVA we would be living there instead of Texas. Lots of awesome roads to ride and like mentioned friendly folks

Vic, I dont know if Leadwolf56 or I have them, I'm not sure if I had sent them to him for the 2010 rally in Potato Creek, Might want to check with him and I'll serch out the garage.

Bob, It's not uncommon for the fuel pumps to crap out on any year RSV. The fuel pump is under the left side battery cover, remove the cover and tap on it to see if you hear the clicking. If you dont there is a good possibility that the fuel pump is shot. Make sure that you drain the carb bowls so you can be sure that it will call for the fuel pump to pressurize the carbs.
-
1st thing I would insure is that you have spark on all the wires. Next would be to insure that all the carbs are getting fuel. Drain all the carbs and then refill them to insure that you dont have float stuck closed and that the fuel pump is operating. Other than that we would need a bit more info to troubleshoot deeper.
