    I work at the PO... they have been closing offices here in our area for about a year.. We have gone through job cuts more than any other branch of government... With less people the service will suck more and it will give the Mucky mucks another reason to hand off mail service to some company that will charge you a buck or 2 to do the same as we do now for 44 cents

    Had only one for a LONG time.... Then I hit a deer witrh the bike and S-I-L bought me one saying "I think the other one just ran out of luck".....

    Seems like a lot of Venture/Tour deluxe riders also own a FJR... Thought I would share this with you..... This has been know as "the spider bite" Also there is one coming for the 2011 FJR Just got this notice................ Intent to Recall 2006~2009 FJR13A/AE Models Yamaha Motor Corporation, U.S.A. has decided that a defect which relates to motor vehicle safety exists in 2006~2009 FJR13A/AE model motorcycles. In affected motorcycles, the ground joint connector of the wire harness could overheat and become deformed, possibly causing an intermittent ground wire connection. If the electrical system is not properly grounded, the ignition system and/or other electrical components could malfunction, which could cause the engine to stall. If this happens while the motorcycle is being ridden, there could be a crash resulting in injury or death. Yamaha intends to recall these motorcycles for a modification of the electrical system. A Technical Bulletin with all necessary information will be provided in the near future. Until then, please suspend sale of any 2006~2009 FJR13A/AE motorcycles in your inventory. As with all safety recall campaigns, Yamaha will be notifying all registered owners of affected units by mail. Will have more details as they make them available.

    I Have Venture seats on my Tour Deluxe..... Takes a little work but they will fit... I have brackets to attach the drivers seat if interseted........

    Been talking to a some people I know and it seemed funny how many of us own both a Venture or RSTD AND a FJR..... Must be the best bikes out there

    I did 950 miles from OKC to Milwaukee in 14 hours... No stops other than refueling and releaving....

    My wife never rode before she met me... Took her a while to feel safe on the bike then I did a few mods on the bike and its hard as hell to ride alone now..... Now shes talking about me buying her a bike of her own...its going to be tough...Shes only 5 foot nothing... I wonder if a tricycle would be short enough...hee hee

    With the upcoming Holiday weekend coming up I would like everyone to take some time out and think about why we have this Holiday…. This Monday we honor those who paid the ultimate price to allow us to continue to do the things we all love to do in this country… My God bless those Men and Women who went before us…

    I own a 09 FJR1300AE and I love it.... I've added things like risers to make the ride better....

    I own a 2006 RSTD.... I LOVE IT!!! This is not your daddys bike... at slow parking lot speeds its a PIG... but get it out and about.... sweet ride.. And you can do a lot to it to make it ride nice.... Only reason I didnt get a Venture is the fairing... UGLY... but the rest of the bike is a Venture....

    Its been one year since My deer strike.... Glad I hit it it with the big bike, otherwise who knows if I would have been here today....Proves that the Royal Stars can take a beating and keep on ticking

    Has to be either the relay or maybe an inline fuse.....if those check out might have a fried wire.... Otherwise it sounds like the rest of the curcuit works
