  1. RoadRunner for me too, although I do wish it came out every month instead of every 2nd month. Brian
  2. Has anyone tried these heated boots from Work Wearhouse? I thought they look pretty good, but a bit pricy. But my experience with Work Wearhouse has usually been great. http://www2.marks.com/productdetails.asp?categoryID=530&start=1&href=%2Fctwnew%2Fmarkprod%2Ensf%2FProductListByID%2F9565EDCCE946C36F802577DA000B4030%3FOpenDocument Brian
  3. Saskies and Newfies are one and the same, brothers in arms, when it comes to alcohol and partying no one does it better!!!! Lookit how both groups love to party and drink their booze!!! I submit the Grey Cup in Edmonton this week as proof....... Brian
  4. There is no such thing as a deer avoidance device, they are all a scam, and worse still, ... some make you drill holes in your bike to fit them on!!! Brian
  5. Three little ducks go into a Bar...... "Say, what's your name?" the bartender asked the first duck. "Huey," was the reply. "How's your day been, Huey?" "Great. Lovely day. Had a ball. Been in and out of puddles all day. What else could a duck want?" said Huey. "Oh. That's nice," said the bartender. He turned to the second duck, "Hi, and what's your name?" "Dewey," came the answer from duck number two. "So how's your day been, Dewey! ?" he asked. "Great. Lovely day. I've had a ball too. Been in and out of puddles all day myself. What else could a duck want?" The bartender turned to the third duck and said, "So, you must be Louie?" "No," she said, batting her eyelashes. "My name is Puddles."
  6. Its hard to tell for sure without testing, but my money would be on the mother board popped something. Most of the power hits the board and through the capacitors etc before if gets to the processor. Prices now are cheap to buy a motherboard with a processor included from places like tigerdirect.com or ncix.com then ya dont have to worryor mess around wondering about the issue. Look here http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/SearchTools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=6824566&Sku=B69-5134 motherboard and processor 59.99 Brian
  7. SIGH.......We gotta get you outta that cult youre in........theyve brainwashed you.... And where have they hidden the body?????? lol!!! Brian
  8. LOL! its not an argument, its a constructive discussion. I like different opinions, it makes the world interesting. Brian
  9. That the percentage of windows users visiting this site is prolly about 98% of the traffic.....so then they will also have a larger share of issues. I gotta say my experience with macs wasnt near as good as yours, so count your stars that youve been lucky so far. Brian
  10. WHEN REVIEWING THE TEST ELECTRONIC BLACK BOXES IN NEW CARS,( SIMILAR TO AN AIRCRAFT COCKPIT RECORDER) , AN INTERESTING FACT WAS FOUND. ‎98% OF CANADIANS SAY "OH SH*T" BEFORE GOING IN THE DITCH ON A SNOWY, SLIPPERY ROAD. THE OTHER 2% ARE FROM SASKATCHEWAN AND THEY SAY, "HOLD MY BEER AND WATCH THIS.":beersign: Brian
  11. It may be more accurate (at times) but I dont know if I want loose mercury close to any aluminum on my bike. Watch the video and then youll know why they dont ship mercury on planes anymore. [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Z7Ilxsu-JlY]YouTube - Mercury attacks Aluminum[/ame] Brian
  12. I didnt need to know that.... Brian
  13. I didnt want a permanent 90 angled extension as I have seen a guy or 2 that have had issues with them hitting the brake calipers. SO I bought a valve stem extension that screws on to your valve stem then comes out at about 90 for a couple of inches. Does it ever make it easy to check air pressure. You do have to remove it and carry it around with you, but for doing the back tire on a G1 bike its almost a neccessity. If anyone else is interested I can post more details and pics when I get home, I think it was about 10 bucks. Ok here is the website all for motorcycle inflation stuff. its called a 90 degree valve extension almost at bottom of page. http://www.stopngo.com/motorcycle.asp#inflationdevices Brian
  14. Enjoy your time with family and friends. Have a fantastic and safe Thanksgiving!!! Brian
  15. YEah , I thought that too, but I was wondering if you G2 guys would mount it in the trunk like the cd, would the radio controls work to make it seem seemless? A lot of times around town, I dont have a GPS on the bike in case it turns up missing in a parking lot so this might solve that issue by being an outta sight outta mind thing.....for about 80 buck it might work for a G2 rider. Brian
  16. Has anyone tried this Digital plug in device that uses sd cards to store the music? Wingstuff has a good deal on these if they are a direct plugin. http://wingstuff.com/pgroup_detail/29640?utm_source=MailingList&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=Black%20Friday%20-%20Our%20Best%20Deals%20EVER Brian
  17. On most of their ebay postings, Pinwall has stated that they will not reply to emails, but they do encourage you to call them if you have a question. Brian
  18. Looks like we are reversed this year last year I rode every month but Dec Jan and Feb my last ride was Nov29th. This year we have had snow and cold waayy earlier than usual. Most of the local guys got their last ride during the 1st weekend of November, But we had a huge dump (of snow) earlier than that but it melted. Brian
  19. I like it. THe 2 colours work for me, I just dont like grey or white, just like you dont like brown, lol. After my bags were painted the OEM brown they looked too big and plain so I had the painter just put on some pinstriping kinda like what you would fins on a bike of this age. I really didnt like the silvery/bronze stripe that was running across the 85's bags at wierd angles, so simpler worked better for me too. Brian
  20. I just use a Baxley chock that clamps the front wheel in place, holds the bike up, and then run straps from the passenger grips forward to the floor anchors and i am done. I dont tie the front down as i want the suspension to move, just the front wheel is clamped down. Ive travelled down to California and all over western canada that way with no issue. I unload and load my bike every day in the season from my trailer, its great that I can do this myself with this chock. Brian
  21. SO glad you got it back up and running. Youre right these guys (and Girls ) in here are a very special bunch of people, always willing to help out. Brian
  22. But the Brown ones are fastest, doesnt matter if theyre in West Virgina or not.... Brian
  23. Hi CLiff Welcome to the group. I didnt catch what kind and size of tires youre running, I know that some guys had some real issues with the Bridgestones just not feeling safe on the highway at speed, and they also made the bike feel almost impossible to make a turn at slow speed. You may also have a loose steering bearing, but someoen with more knowledge than me will step fairly shortly to add to that. Again, Welcome Brian Ps what year and model of bike is do you have?
  24. I would suggest to do a loop either getting there or going home that includes the International Rally in Cody WY that includes rides thru Yellowstone in 3rd week of July. The Bearstooth Pass is known as one of the most breathtaking rides on the continent. Brian
  25. I was surfing the VRide Canada, a website that has taken videos all across Canada from an HD Vrod, and found this video that i thought was cool with a Bald Eagle flying along while the bike was going past. The Bald eagle is an about the 3 minute mark, and the video is from the Merritt, BC area. These guys have some great videos have a look around and watch a couple. http://www.vridetv.com/blog.html?entry=motorcycle-riding-with-a-bald And here is the vid taken from just south of home, Regina, SK at the old Corner Gas TV Set. http://www.vridetv.com/hdcornergas.html -----if you guys watch this you will understand why i travel into the mountains or States to go for a ride
