  1. Hey Gene, when your elected, I'd like to be Director of the F.B.I. (female Body Inspector). I need a job with a lot of Field work...The Beaches would require a lot of field work.
  2. Preyers sent for Ron, Family, Squidley,Lonna,Mary, and all else who needs the Fathers guiding hand.
  3. Glad to hear they are both able to walk and talk about the ordeal. They are in our thoughts and preyers for a speedy recovery.
  4. I've had my new puter for about 6 months now and it came with vista. I have found that it depends on the type of security you use. I tried some of the on-line and other kinds and found that norton 360 pretty much lets the program run best and quickest. It's a little on the expensive side but I haven't had any problems yet.
  5. Yep,,,He must be waiting for the pond to freeze over.....
  6. Count me in! Our Heros deserve something good from home. Let me know where to send the M/O and it'll be on it's way.
  7. I think it was the Rev. Jessie Jackson who "slammed" Mr. Cosby for this little speech a while back.
  8. Have you tried www.mrcycleparts.com I don't know what all they have but you can try. It's an online site that searches all over the country for parts.
  9. I live in East Tennessee!!!! There's just toooo much to list, but I'll try. The Great Smokie Mountains-Pigeon Forge, Gatlinburg, Cherokee, Townsend, and a little know place they call The Dragon. The Big South Fork Park... Ozone Falls... Field of The Wood... So many back roads to ride on that you can't ride em all in a summer, unless you're retired and don't have anything else to do.:cool10:
  10. I have a few rules that I go by.... If someone wants to be dangerous, just let them go. If you just happen to catch up with them at a light, STOP at least 2 car lengths behind them and get a tag#. Even if there's no other cages around. Call it in and let the L E O's do their job. It keeps you safe and your bike in 1 piece....I know, it's not as exciting that way but at least you will be able to roll her out and go for a ride the next day with no wear and tare on the body. Glad you're not too badly damaged. So heal quickly and get back out there.
  11. Thanks for the update and we'll keep Gary and the family in our thoughts and prayers.
  12. KAJD 9117 The screamin Nighthawk here.....It was C.W.McCall with the platter with Convoy on it. There was also Red Sovine with Teddy Bear, and Jerry Reed with East Bound and Down. OMG I'm feelin my age.....
  13. E BS C -----I coulda sworn that stood for Easily Boring Senior Cycle???
  14. Growin up I played sports, worked on cars, and anything else I could find to get into (mostly ridin). About the age of 22 I messed up my right knee and can't run any more. Then I took up Golf ,but continued with the cars and ridin. About 5 years ago I started being visited by ARTHER and his bro ITUS. Both hands, feet, and the small of my back. Since then I can't do much with my hands that involve impacts. Ridin is the only thing I have left that I enjoy...and I'm not goinna give that up even though a very close friend was killed only about 3 months ago on his bike.
  15. YEP, I'll have to agree with the rest. Very Nice!! It looks like she has many miles of smiles left in her.:thumbsup2:
  16. YEP,YEP,YEP.......Sure is a nice lookin ride. But Dan, it ain't BLUE!!!!!!!
  17. Hey Todd, the old gal looks pretty solid.:thumbsup2:She looks like she will dress out really well.
  18. OK, I learned a looooong time ago to take an old blanket and lay down beside the bike with the tools necessary to remove the drain plug and change the filter and lay down there until the oil is drained and filter is changed and both is replaced and tightened before getting up. And I own a 2nd Gen.
  19. That's good to know, thanks for the heads up Dray. Ride safe
  20. Well fellers, Monsta almost hit the mark. The availabilty of corn is the problem. With the folks who are making fuel, feeding their stock, feeding families, and whiskey making this makes corn a well used comodity. There just arn't enough farmers growing it to keep up with the demand. SOOO, that's what makes it cheeper to get drunk than to give your little ones a bottle of milk.
  21. Along with what Salty and Popeye suggested, have several experienced riders up front with you to be blockers when turning left or right onto connecting roads. This will ease the group along through the intersections without stringing the group out for a long stretch.
  22. Because of being out of town, I only found out about Tom today. The only thing I can think to do is to prey for strength for Sherry and the family.
  23. I've had to have the rear end aligned. The audio controls have been replaced due to a short circuit. And the rear brakes wearing unevenly. The only whine I have is that I don't get enough riding time......
