It's pretty hard to diagnose what happened but you did say that it worked until you moved the black wire. So check the wire from end to end and if that fails, pull out another wire and connect it. That will confirm weather the wire is broken or not. Hope that helps.

I had the same thing happen to mine. There was another way to reset it without pulling the battery. I think you pushed the upper and lower left buttons at the same time. I got the info at Zumo forums. Mine ended up quitting completely after awhile. Garmin replaced it for free and the new unit seems to be much better.

I have one similar to that. It's pretty nice and convenient. I like that you don't have to fuss with the antenna's and that it stuffs into a small bag for storage.

I was just looking at an article in this months Roadrunner magazine about the Skyline-Blueridge parkway. I'm thinking of taking a ride over there sometime! Nice pictures.

You should have heard me ***** up a storm when I got caught in a motorcycle speed trap in Louisville. Then again, you probably did since I complained about it here.

I was figuring that I was going to have to ride over to your place and drink all your beer. Figured it would make you feel better........ya, I'm a good guy that way! I paid around 200 bucks to put an E3 on the back of my bike. I'd have been hacked about paying that much too!

I think I may have done a pretty good job of depopulating the most of the bugs in Ohio. Yea, my bike has a nice fuzzy texture to it now.

Oh, I did not know the puck came with the unit. Hmmm, that does make it interesting to upgrade especially if we can get 500 bucks for the 550 with puck.

So what kind of prices are you folks finding for the Zumo 665 with the XM Puck? I'm seeing around 1,200 bucks. Is that close?
