  1. Ride-on is something you put in your tires, it seals a small puncture from a nail or a screw.
  2. Had a great ride down from Freezyrider's house. A couple exciting moments but we all made it ok. Met Ky. Rider, Midrsv and Bob Meyers for dinner. Nice to meet some more new people. Looking forward to tomorrow and some good riding.
  3. If you use a screwdriver in the slots on the inlet of the HD pipes you can open them up a little bit and you won't have to beat them on. Mine slipped on pretty easy after I did this.
  4. Hmmmm, is that halo on a little crooked.......
  5. Ok Ruffy, put me down for a set too.
  6. You'll get to if he gets up to MD. Oh, and by the way he's really not so "Snarly"! :rotf::rotf::rotf:
  7. Congratulations Reiny, Hope you enjoy the wing. See you at MD if you can make it.
  8. It's bad enough when an adult gets killed in an accident. It's a lot worse when a child is killed. This is terrible for your friend and his family. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and with the family. I saw what happened to my next door neighbor when he was hit by a drunk driver. He lived but he's not quite the same (head injury). He lost everything he owned and is lucky to be alive. His experience didn't scare me off of riding but did make me a much more aware rider.
  9. THAT would be the Chuck we know.........:rotf::rotf: When we gonna get to see the wing?
  10. Holding at a loss of about 17 lbs. But not going back up either. Hopefully I'll be closer to my goal by MD.
  11. We were there too, in fact that's the weekend we met Brad and Lonna. It's a big event, a lot of cool bikes.
  12. Hey Chuck, Have you checked any plaaces that part out bikes? Like Pinwall Cycle parts in Ohio? You may be able to find what you need at some of those places. I've dealt with Pinwall and they're pretty reasonable.
  13. Joe, Looks like Bob and Dennis have us covered on rides. I lived down there for awhile and all of what they're talking about is very nice. We used to hike at Natural Bridge and the Red River Gorge. I think it'll be a great weekend wherever we ride around there. We're ready!
  14. Here's your sample........
  15. I've got a 900 pound sample sitting in my garage.
  16. Ol' Big Chief of the White Werewolfes MC, how fitting!
  17. Cool, I was hoping that they would wear as well as the E2. I'll get this taken care of this week and we're planning on seeing you on saturday.
  18. I will have a new tire by next weekend one way or another. I won't ride this one. I'll be contacting Avon and the local stealer, as they're a dealer for Avon, tomorrow. I've checked out the E3 and they look a lot like the Avon. I liked the E2s I had on my 90 for the wear, they have 16,000 miles on them and look like they can go another 4,000-5,000 easy. Denden had put the Avons on before I bought the 06 and I like the way they feel but the cracking thing is eating at me.
  19. I too found over the weekend that my rear tire is cracked on the sidewall, left side down by the rim. Date code of 2406. Front shows no problem and was manufactured 1107. Only 3500 miles on the tires, installed last summer by the PO.
  20. Don, Good luck, you're in our thoughts and prayers. Kevin and Sue
  21. I have to get a new rear tire as mine has a crack in the sidewall. Not sure if I want another Avon or want to try an E3.
  22. Hmmmm, my stepfather is from Minnesota...... And yes, we had a very good time.
  23. But Dan, that's important too, that way they know what their daughter's getting into.....:rotf:
