    Hey BOSS, How about asking for specs for a 3rd Gen Venture. With no BS, just a great bike well thought out concept. Once completed, send it to Yamaha and let them know this would be the bike for them to build get back into the market. What do you think? MIKE aka Uturn

    I'll add about the Suzuki 800. It is a great bike, with close gearing, but if you change out the final drive with either the 1400 or C90 final drive, that bike will cruise at 80+ mph. We updated my SIL's 2003 800 Volusia. At 90mph, he stayed with me on last year's trip to Bike Week. With better gas mileage than I got. MIKE aka Uturn

    Just want to chime in with....I borrowed a 2 cycle tiller from a friend. He told me the mixture to use and I said that is fine since I have a lot of the Mercury TCW-3 oil left over. Man he about had a heart attack. YOU don't mix 2 cycle outboard oil to use in a air-cooled engine. How about your thoughts on this. BTW I did go buy some "expensive" Stihl brand oil for the tiller.     Heads up !!

    About a year or so ago, I was on a trip and when I started to down shift, my shift lever was dangling from the rod and laying on the footboard. The allen head bolt that mounts it to the bike had come out, and gone. I managed to use a cable tie to connect it back to the bike and able to get to the nearest AutoZone to buy a metric bolt that would fit. I hadn't thought anymore about that since it happened until today. My buddy came down around lunch time and said "you'll never believe what happened to me on the way to work this morning!" Yep, his shifter allen head bolt vibrated out. Lucky for him, it was laying on the floorboard and he put his foot on it until he could stop and put it back in. Suggest every one take a minute and check that bolt and maybe a little lock tite wouldn't hurt. MIKE aka Uturn

    Sorry to hear this, it is bad to be violated ... But can you spell "South of the Border?" When my boat was stolen, the LEO said the odds of finding the thief was Slim to None, and Slim left town. Hope you get it back. MIKE aka Uturn
