I aint any taller than you, I always just sat on the seat and rocked it a few times till it fell forward off the stand. Worked for me and I never dropped that 1st gen. Craig -

Go to sears and get a laser IR thermometer, cost about 20bucks with the bike running aim the laser at each ex pipe rite at the cyl. you will see which cyls are running cold pretty quick. Craig -

I have this lid organizer on my bike, works great easy install, no holes to drill, its nice for small things, gps, camera, phone, glasses etc. I think its worth it?? Craig

Wife and I went to see it at the Imax 3D, I havent been to a movie theater in many years. It was awesome, best movie experience I have ever seen. There were times I actually felt as though I was into or part off the movie. I think it is definetly worth seeing in Imax 3D. Craig

They actually make a cassette that holds an sd card loaded with music, just pop it in your player and you are good to go. Craig

I have a set of brand new HD pipes you can have for $50 plus shipping, will throw in a pair of HD SS clamps. Clamps are used. Let me know if you are interested, hopefully you can find some locally and save the shipping. Craig

If ya want some noise look into the Sampson fishtails, they look great on these bikes and definetly get you noticed. The chrome finish is beautiful. Craig

Take it to a local yamaha dealer to register the warranty, then ask them to check for any work thats been done on the bike. It worked for me, they can bring it rite up on their computer. I dont know if they will give you the owners name, but at least you can get the maint. info you want. Craig
