Riding the Dragon is OK and it's nice to be able to say "been there, done that" but there are a lot of others beautiful roads all over that territory that you will enjoy just as much. And you don't have to worry about the other idiots trying to break records on the Dragon.....

I agree, the ONLY tire I would use on a First Gen, but then again, I don't own a First Gen....anymore.

E2's are a great tire. I've ran them on my First Gen for years, with great mileage. I wouldn't run anything else....

13th week of 2005...Sounds like an old tire to start with. Just may be my opinion, but it should be less than two years at start....

Thanks for listuing the info. I've been trying to decide between the Avon Venoms and Dunlop E3's for my 2nd Gen. I know the Avons has been cracking for a few members, but the Avons does have a little higher weight rating. The E3's has a little better mileage..... hard decision.... Any ideas who has the best prices at this time? I need two...
