On my way to work everyday I see the results of people rubber-necking and not watching the traffic in front of them. Just last week I was on a three lane road and there was a two car accident on the side of the road with the cruiser behind them. Just as I came up on them there was another one in the center lane where one driver slowed down and the second driver was apparently watching the accident, because she ran into the first car. Seems like when there is one accident there will be another near by...

The First Gens will do that pretty easily. First gear you won't even need to slip the clutch, just goose it and lift up the front. Also if you run second gear out to about 90 mph and shift into third it will lift the front tire again. Pretty impressive for an 800 pound crotch rocket.... I know this from experience..... -

I have an Extra class license but I'm not as active on HF as I used to be. Motorcycles has taken up most of my spare time. The wife and I are active on 2 meter FM since we're on the road so much. Only dipole I have up now is an 80 meter so I still check in with the locals here on 3.830 in the mornings and sometimes a little 10 meter action...
