The plan was for Mamamo to come down Thursday and help with the food. Both of us were going to take Friday off. With her work schedule getting called in all the time on her days off it's wait and see. I'm leaving for Virginia Monday on out of town business and my tech has the week off. So there is nobody to watch the shop this week. It's still up in arms for getting Friday off. I was going to buy a new battery and try to get a scoot out but I tore up the mower deck at the camp hit a stump so thats were the $$$$ will go. I'll be there Thursday evening In the pickup and will sit the rides out.Were bringing the family Thursday evening so thats 4 more.

I'm still thinking about this creek and considering a trailer to haul the scoot.I looked at the ones at Tractor Supply. They have a wire mesh floor,drop down gate,4x8 with a 2000 lb payload for around $600.95% of it's use would be hauling down to the camp only 1 mile down the road.Maybe once a year an occasional trip 500 miles to the beach. What would you buy? Here is my needs. 1. Budget minded nothing fancy 2. Easy to load and unload by your self. 3. Heavy duty enough for a first gen or ATV I would be pulling this with a pickup. My 16ft dual axle trailer is to big for this and would like something smaller.

I'm still running Kendas on all three bikes with no problems. With all brands once in a while there is a bad one.Does it look like a cut from road debris or something?

I seen the whole thing and Mini definitely looked like she enjoyed it.And all the ladies seem to just be in the right place at right time with cameras and video waiting.:think:

The pond monster is real because MamaMo had a close encounter with two.Her and Cindy were setting on the dock just enjoying the pond when all of a sudden two appeared. It was definitely a FULL MOON experience I thought MamaMo was gonna die from laughing.As for pictures those were the biggest jaws I ever seen on Albino Catfish.:rotfl:

We had a good time and many thanks to Don and Eileen for another great Maint day weekend.It was great to meet with old friends and make new ones.I hope everybody has a safe trip home. See ya at the Skid Inn.

For many it's status,pier pressure, and keeping up with the Jone's.Identity and to be socially accepted means more to them then the riding experience.Not knocking Harley's just the mindset of some people.Many just can't ride against the wind.Not all are like this and many will ride with anybody.The staff at the oberlin Inn told us yesterday how friendly the venture riders were my point exactly.

We just checked in to the Oberlin. They have 5 rooms available for Friday and Saturday. The number is 440-775-1111. Tell them you are with venture riders.

Like I said man rain,rain,rain I been soaked to the bone for two days and still a flood watch here till Friday morning.I just got in from 4 days in Maryland. Anyway were coming to Oberlin tomorrow via Pickup truck and Pittsburg across the turnpike.We should be at the Oberlin Inn by 4-5pm. Does the group have an dinner plans for Friday evening? When? and Where?

Thats why were bringing the pickup. MamaMo is gonna have it loaded down with Peanut Butter pies. I hope Freebird has a spare shade tree for a nap. Sounds like another eating disorder event.

Anybody traveling or doing anything special this weekend? Sometimes a plan just does not come together.This has been a wet spring and I have been working every weekend trying to get caught up.The 89 is not ready,99 still on the lift, and nothing has had service, oil change,etc.This darn creek has taken away the mood for riding. Hopefully we will have a dry month of June for the Skid Inn. Ramona has been working 6-7 days a week for 1-2 months and I been out of state on a few trips for work. So we will be caging it to Maint Day. Maybe I can talk her into loading down the back with peanut butter pie.Forecast for tonight freeze warning and 30 degrees.
