gentalmen i want to thank all of you for your help i now have front brakes rear brake and a clutch i am currently putting everything back together clutch basket cover, exhaust, covers, and whatnot oh and oil i dumped out a good bit with the clutch smeels like original factory oil with 24000 mi. on it any way if all goes well ill be chasing my front tire soon

ok i seen what looked like a car tire on the back of a bike about a yr ago the owner showd me is odometer 84k 3k was the original tire that came on the bike the car looking tire he had was his 2nd tirewith 1k on it and showed me pics of the last one with od. readings and the tire depth guage the only thing he hated about it was turning curves on a new tire he had to cut them down which took a while but for straight runs they were great i like the thought of 80k on a tire at 240.00 but i will be doing more local riding like MS,LA,and AL, and maybe a little of FL ie. pensicola

i will check it i didnt think to do that i was thinking it might have a pin hole in the line but that wouldnt make sence and then so much going on at work we have to get ready for our ribon cutting grand open in early june but i did discover no washers on the bolt and put 2 new ones on it, did the vac and still got air i will teflon the bleeder in the next day or 2 and try again getting closer every day to chasing my front wheel and i cant wait

yea he stays real busy on memorial day weekend for the blow out here in gulfport his only problem is he cant find which harley the part goes to cus they are all missin parts and fighting over them

i love it all of yall have grate ideas but i need it to fix my clutch and L.front brake on my newly found out 97 to 99 Royal Star Tour Deluxe i could draw the schematics any one got a red crayone i can borrow to draw this -
ok i have bled the clutch and front brake my slave cyl works fine i pulled the clutch basket cover off and can see it move now the problem i believe is its all stuck it sat up for 3 yrs in a garage i think with no oil in it because when i pulled the basket cover no oil came out the cover was off on the other side to (where slave is at ) and i did not pu 2 and 2 together now i will start a new thread for that on the front brake isue i get fluid down to the r. front brake nothing to l. front just a lot of air bleeder seems tight enough because i get vacume on the mityvac when i open the bleeder its all air any sugestions

where does the first gen end and 2nd gen start im just learning these things about my bike first bike a i had was a yamaha 600 or 550 not sure 2nd was 750 shadow and that was 20yrs ago now i got a 97 RSTD 1300 that is very sick and judge brown can kiss my you get the point it maybe sick and more than im ready for but some one has to give it some TLC

when i was younger i would have said no to watching any kind of safety vid now that im older wiser and also play a safety consultant i will be ordering my own copy from motorman i would also like to know where i could get a copy of RLAP I,II,and III if thats posible my wife wants to learn how to ride so i will be getting her a honda rebel as a starter bike
