All Digital Touchscreen Dash (cluster)
motorcycle.jockey replied to GothicJB's topic in GPS, Audio, Electronics
Has this project died? I've thought about using an inexpensive Android tablet as a replacement or supplemental dash. But I don't have the knowledge to do it. -
I'm planning on putting a set of Fusion Led's on my bike. We use them at the shop I work at. http://shop.beseenatnight.com/fusion-led-lighting.html Sent from my ASUS Transformer Pad TF700T using Tapatalk 2

Grip & Highway Peg Question?
motorcycle.jockey replied to af226's topic in Venture and Venture Royale Tech Talk ('83 - '93)
The iso grips for the Royal Star and Venture will not fit. Found out the hard way, I got a set for my 83 and they are too big. -
It's a dual antenna mount. It's for a first gen mk2, but I can make it work on a mk1 Sent from my ASUS Transformer Pad TF700T using Tapatalk 2

Are there still parts left for the Vmax to do the upgrade? Sounds like the parts supply is drying up for the Venture, -
Starter Clutch Mod
motorcycle.jockey replied to Dano's topic in Venture and Venture Royale Tech Talk ('83 - '93)
Is this true for the Vmax starter clutch as well? I'm looking to Vmaximize my 83 this winter. -

Depending on the price I'd be in for one

I'd be available on Sunday. Especially if the ride comes down to the Irish Hills/Adrian area.

I may try and come, I've never been to a maintenance day.

Another new way to mount stuff on a 1st gen handlebar.
motorcycle.jockey replied to Snaggletooth's topic in Watering Hole
Are there any still available, if so how do I order? Sent from my VTAB1008 using Tapatalk 2 -
Since the consensus is a valve adjustment is too big of a job for maintenance day I will not plan on it. The motorcycle shop I work at got busy the past couple days so it looks like I'll be working this weekend. Sent from my VTAB1008 using Tapatalk 2

Does anyone know if there will be the tools and shims to do a valve adjustment available at the maintenance day?

Any more information on if/when these might be available? I have a trip in a few weeks and a set of these would be handy. -
1983 Carburetor seats
motorcycle.jockey replied to motox33's topic in Venture and Venture Royale Tech Talk ('83 - '93)
I replaced mine, it's not worth the effort. Unless you have a problem new needles will not solve then leave the seats alone. Sent from my VTAB1008 using Tapatalk 2 -
Interested in the Snagglestuds? Talk to me!
motorcycle.jockey replied to Snaggletooth's topic in Watering Hole
I'm interested in a pair. The shorter one's with the bullet end should work fine for me. -
I've heard that the 1200 Vmax carb rebuild kits will also work.
