I had a fiberglass pool put in back in 1994. But I did not have a fence up yet and there was a street behind the back yard. Did not have that problem. But I did have to get a variance from the city to put it in. Because with the street there my back yard was consider a front yard.

One thing I have to do every so often for some reason if my internet slows down. I shut the computer down. Then I pull the power plug on the cable modem and the router and let them set for a few minutes. Then I plug the modem power cable in and wait till I get the one light on. Then I plug power back into router them boot the computer.

I was out on my bike yesterday. 37 F when I left. It was windy here to. I miss getting out last weeken was busy get a new car. I wanted a car that got good MPG. Got a Chevy Cruze. I thing GM got it right on that car.
-
the only reason I did it was I went for 3 meg upload to 5 meg upload. I run a video chat room server software from my home computer. That way I can have about 10 people in the room viewing cams with out lag. I figer for $10 a month 2 more meg was not bad. But has far has download it was fast enough before. Plus I can upload videos a lot faster to vimeo. But has far has going out and getting a DOCSIS 3 cable modem if your not going to upgrade the tier of speed you have now your not going to see anything different. Plus I would think if it is a new install they would put in a DOCSIS 3 modem anyway. I do know that over the years Comcast has upgraded there speeds free for people but if you had a old modem you might have to call them to swap it out to see it.

I went with the Docsis 3 cable modem about 2 years ago with comcast. I wanted there 5 meg upload speed. I think my download is like 22 meg with that package but on speed test I get get 32 meg. it cost be $10 more a month for that 5 up and 22 down. I did not want to pay $100 a month for the 10 meg up and 50 down. I have not had any problems with it. All DOCSIS 3 is they bond channels togethere to more bandwidth. On my upload it is still 1 channel download shows 4 channels.

Gateway Laptop
Michael_Bishop replied to FROG MAN's topic in Computer help and tips for using this site.
I have seen a computer run slow with no virus on them. It was the hard drive going bad losing clusters. I would try right click then you will see a menu and left click on properties. Then you tabs with one mark tools click it. Then you will see the frist one check drive for errors click that button and put a ckeck in Auto fix file system errors. It will tell you it can't do it now do you want to do it on next startup click the button schedule disk check. Then shut down computer and restart it. Then it will run a 4 or 5 step check. If you see it say like relocate Sectors and Clusters in the report that is a good sign the hard drive is going bad. The lady next door to me had a 2 month old HP thet the drive was bad. And like a guy said tell her to back up often you never know when something is going to happen. -
How much heated clothing
Michael_Bishop replied to tommycole's topic in Royal Star Venture Tech Talk ('99 - '13)
When I was look at heated vest and gloves in 2005. On the RSTD the manual said not to go over 60 watt or 5 AMPs on accessories. I called gerbing and they said vest and gloves would take 100 watt. I went with the Widder because they said that they only pull about 3.5 amp. -
I let the plug in just hang from under my seat. When I was not using it I just tuck up under the seat. The controller I just put velcro on back of it and on left leg of my bibs I was wearing.

V4 (Four) Cylinder Motorcycle Engines: Description: An advancement on the V-Twin design to remove the inherent disadvantages such as vibration, top speed and horsepower. Today, you can find the V-Four engine in power cruisers, muscle bikes and touring bikes (like the Vmax, Magna, Venture) where large capacity (750cc+). The V-Four is a newly developed (early 1980's) engine and offered advantages of its own such as smoother ride, more torque and horsepower, and less complexity and width than the In-Line 4/6 and boxer engines.

I have been retired for 3 1/2 years now. I haven't even thought about getting a job.

Well back on July 24 I laid my motorcycle down. Here is a post of the damage. http://www.venturerider.org/forum/showthread.php?t=62041 It was on a Sunday that it happens. With the dealers being closed on Mondays and me living on the south side of Indy I sent email to Dreyer Honda South. I told them I had a Yamaha RSTD and what had happen. Ask them if they could get the parts and fix it for me. I got a call that Tuesday morning from there service manager. He said they would love to do the job that they could get the parts. Well in a few days after that I had the check from the insurance company. I told the service manager that when they had all the parts in there dealer ship to give me a call and I would bring it in. Because I could still ride it and did not want it to be in the shop for a few months. He said Yamaha had all the parts in stock and it would take a few weeks to get them in. Well about two and a half weeks later they call me and said they have all the parts in but the front headlight ring. That if I could bring it in they would get the parts on it. Now they had down that it would take 6.5 hours labor. So I drop the bike off and I ask the service manager when it would be done he said this time next week. I told him I need the bike that next weekend. Well after they had my bike for a week I called them to see if it was going to be ready the guy that answer the phone went to look and came back and told me all the parts are setting next to the bike in the box. Well I said they have not touch it yet. I was not a happy camper. Then I find out they was still missing four parts. Well after me telling them I was not happy with them for having me bring it and saying they had all the parts but the one and plus that we talk about me bring it in when they had all of them and ready to do the job. I got my bike back the next evening with the parts they had in on it. Then the service manager tells me that when the windshield, front headlight ring, and reflector for crash bar for saddlebag was in I could bring it back and they would put it on while I waited. So I get a call yesterday and they said the rest of the stuff was there. Could I bring it in and they would put them on. I said you get them on while I wait today they said no we will have them on by Friday. I said that’s not want I was told the last time I pick the bike up. So I told them I would bring it in today. But that I need the bike Friday because I had a field meet to go to this weekend. Well after we had talk on the phone. I got to thinking they had not done good on their word has far timing. So I went up to their shop and got the rest of the parts and brought them home and put them on myself. I got the parts on in about two hours. Bike is now all done and back looking like it should. So I would have to say I give them a grade of D. The work they did was done right it’s just what they tell you and what really happen is off .

I got one 6 years ago. I think I paid like a $150 for it then. They work great if it fits right. The shop I got mine from said you want it to fit snug and just have a tee shirt on then it. That way the heat is next to your body. The put your other coat on. I never had to trun it up past 3 and they goto 7.
