    On that sears mower, there is a drain plug on the bottom of the engine that either has a sq drive or allen to remove. Drain there. Steve

    I dug this old thread up, because in dumping pics from my computer, I found these. This is the tapered pin that is inside of the hinge. I tried to find one from Yamaha, and eve had the dealer call his rep. No Go--- You can see where I cut it in half with my dremel, and you can also see the taper. I ended up finding a split pin that was exatly a tight slip fit and soaking both in locktight put the new split pin inside of the tapered yamaha pin. Then I let it sit on my workbench for several days to cure. I put the hinge back together, and it is still working fine. Steve

    Well, just keep in mind, you asked. I'm not a cabinet maker, and unlike Riderduke, I believe I did stay in a Holiday inn once, years ago-----so here is my take on your dillema: Turn the garage into kindling, A BFH should take care of this part. take the toaster to goodwill, and buy one that you aren't ashamed of. Put it on the counter for all to see and love. Put the mixer in a cabinet somewhere. you're probably only going to use it a dozen times a year anyways, and put in the new granite counter top. Good luck, and of course, we will all want to see pictures of the finished product. Steve

    Orlin Depends what you mean by a cruzer. If you mean cruzer, I agree with Randy, couldn't do better than a late model RSTD. Or if you mean a long distance tourer, lots of used second gen ventures out there. Good luck with your search and just maybe I'll see you next summer. We're not all that far apart. Steve

    This is the Wisconsin buck I got this year. They were still in rut opening day. Big neck and all. My grandson shot a 210lb buck same day. Mine was 175lb Steve

    I posted a long time ago about how to remove the cat. I removed mine. It's easily done with a drill press. I got an aircraft drill, (long drill bit) about 1/4" or so, and drilled a series of holes, as close to one another as possible around the OD of the cat, then with a pipe, simply pounded it out. Hope that helps, BTW, to clarify years of the cat, mine came out of my BIL's 06 road king. Steve

    165-vredstein sprint + 165/80 r15 86s I've seen this tire online and would like to know more about it, like where is it made, etc. I found out it is made in the Netherlands. Also found out that BF Goodrich hasn't been in the tire business since 1990--Michelin Took it over then. It does cost more for some reason. Guess that's why Can't find a Kumho either--Guess that leaves Nexen, Federal, and Nankang Steve

    Well, Like txrider, I had Diamond Back put 2 1/4" whitwalls on both sides of a Nexen C/T 3 years ago, and now have 25,000 miles on it. (front and rear) Cost was just over $200, but have gotten 3 years so far. The wearbars are starting to get down there now. Probably woudn't take it on a long trip with this tire, so I'll have to decide which tire to put on it next summer. As for the front tire, I put a Dunlop 402 rear HD MT90-16 WWW on the front running backwards. (wider WW and more tread than the front) At the same miles, 25,000 it has a ton of tread left on it, but has cupped, so I'll put on the back of my bobber next summer. Again, not sure what I'll do next. But I will replace both at the same time. Steve

    I mixed up a bunch of that stuff a couple of years ago and a year or so later was wondering what that red stuff was that was dripping from my cabinet. Yup, tha'ts what it was alright. Potent stuff I've passed this info on to some friends also. Steve

    I'm not a structual engineer, but I'll tell you that the house next door to me is a smaller two story and he took the chimney down for the exact reason you are talking about as did the guy across the street. They are both still standing. and they were both in the middle of the house. Mine is also, but not in the way of anything. Good luck

    I have stocked up on firewood and brandy, oh yeah, some food as well. That sounds like a great plan. I've done the same with the exception of brandy. Never did care for the stuff. Cecdoo, How did you do with no elec for all of that time? Steve

    I think so. A dunlop 404, 150/80-15 is 25.43" Your BF Goodrich 155/80 R15 is 24.7"" My Nexen 156/80 R15 is 25.4" I had already lowered my 05 RSTD so I didn't go with the BF Goodrich, but I think that my next CT will be the BFG. An extra 3/8" lower I can adjust for with air in the shock. Steve
