  1. Holy Moly, that red really gets your attention! I was half asleep when I switched back to red. I like the new red. I'm going to try it for a while. Geez Don, do you ever sleep?
  2. I went into my profile and where it asks? City, I added my state to the city, and now it shows up here. Even though it also asks what State, right below that.
  3. State Flag Now, I don't want you up at 2:30am working on this, but I was just bragging on another forum how we had a state flag to show where we were from. Is this something that in the future we will have again? Just wondering.
  4. Jakester, Thanks for the link, I'll get a hold of them next week
  5. How do you add your bike to it?
  6. Yup, got the blue back. my eyes thank you
  7. Thanks Gary, I did try Flanders and couldn't find the one for the RSTD. I do know the part number from searching old threads. Maybe tomorrow I'll give them a call. I also did email Rick at Buckeye, so we'll see. For some reason, this year I notice that a couple more inches in pullback would be a very good thing.
  8. Does anyone know where I can get a set of Flanders bars for my RSTD? I read an old thread where Rick at Buckeye Performance did, but that was 4 years ago. Model# 650-08783
  9. Cowpuc, I'm sorry to hear that you lost your dad. You are in my thoughts. Steve
  10. WOW, were here, and it looks good, Hope you can relax a bit now, Thanks, Steve
  11. If I remember correctly, one of the major concerns is that it is, or will not be supported in the future, so I say, with all of your effort that you have put in to switch it over, finish what you started, and we will deal with our new site. And again, thanks for all of your effort in keeping it here. to say nothing of maintaining it. Steve
  12. That's simply amazing, I can't wait to try it
  13. This time he started with "well since you are still so young and in really great shape" Was he looking at his nurse when he said that? Good news Jeff!
  14. Hey, I have a 2005 RSTD with NO flashers. I couldn't believe it. I'd do it, but not too good with electricity stuff, you know, the stuff that runs like water. Another one of Yamaha's great ideas!
  15. Chaharly, Go up 5 posts and you'll see that Bob has done it. Bob, What is the small black line going down from that pocket? Was that there or did you put it there? Thanks, I got an I basket a couple of years ago and put it in, but it made my whine louder, so after maybe 50-100 miles took it out and it's on my shelf. Steve
  16. I'm with Dan, I'm going for a ride too, but I'm glad to hear that you are getting help with the upgrade. There's only so much a guy can do, right? hope all goes well. Steve
  17. Dang Jeff, Not the news that I was hoping for either. I hope the docs get you the right drugs ASAP to get this under control. Best wishes for you, Steve
  18. Some guys will do anything to get a few weeks off. Walking and chewing gum again huh? Good luck on Friday, and be nice to everyone. You really do want them on your good side. Eagleeye
  19. I saw that last night and knew that whatever it was, it wasn't good. To say that what you do to run this site is appreciated is an understatement. I agree, it seems inevitable. I say do whatever you need to do to make running it easier on YOU. We'll deal with however it ends up. Thanks!
  20. I'd say it's the battery. Switch it out with any battery to check. just because the dealer said it was new, doesn't means it's good.
  21. That was great! Thanks for sharing it. EagleEye
  22. My bet is a bad battery for both of you guys. But the only way to know is to buy a new battery. Good Luck.
  23. I saw that bike last year at the National Motorcycle Museum in Iowa. Surprised that it is for sale. And if you guys haven't been there, you should go. It is an amazing place!
  24. Try "Michigan Motorcycle Salvage" They have a website and had a 2005 RSTD they were parting out.
  25. I took mine off a couple of years ago and woudn't dream of putting them back on. I think that the rotors look lots better than that flat piece of chrome. And I don't hear any noise using the front brakes. There might be a pic of mine in my pics, haven't looked. Just my opinion.
