They could be locked out of future responces to a paticular thead. Comon guys, if you behave badly, you should be spanked, mope about it a little and learn the lesson not to abuse people. If the policy was documented and enforced people would not do it. By having a " Delete the entire thread policy", with no repurcussions to the instigator, it will lead to them starting another thread, or, worse yet," going behind the scenes with PMs" . The main theme should promote harmony and discourage bad behaviour. Plus, if i don't like where a thread is going, whats to prevent me from starting something knowing it will be deleted? "hence my cancel the membership for multiple abuses". I know a lot of this has been discussed before, but we've already eliminated religious/political and other topics. Really don't want to see more banned topics.

"As for a button to report posts, we already have one. Right above the country flags and etc. is a white triangle with a red border. Hover your mouse cursor over it and you'll see that it says "report post". " Well.... Guess I missed that one to, Ooooooooops. Thanks Black Owl, Freebird. The thing that bothers me the most is, from the time i was a kid i have been told when people start hurling insults, personal abuse or try to change the subject, it's because they aren't intellectually able, or, are just to lazy to research and defend their stance... Thats why i Won't do it (although to be truthful, I have had some colorful replies after getting my feathers ruffeled)... As another member stated:"people will get on your back simply because they disagree with you, not because you were wrong, or out of line." I think we can all agree this is inappropiate.

Would it be possible to have a report abuse button added to the threads ? There are certain people on here that go out of their way to insult others on this forum. Such action should not be tolerated and can only lead to bad feelings and possible loss of our membership. One site I visit has this button. When a member reports an abuse, a moderator views it, decides if it was a verbal abuse, then if it was, deletes it and notifies the offending party. If the same person has to be warned multiple times, they loose their membership.

Need a little help......

Glad you got her fixed. If I remember correctly, another thing that will cause it not to work is putting your ipod in the cassette door(just to hold it). Ihought i had found a use for the cassette player but the aux won't work if the cassette senses something in it. Think it might have something to do with the door not closing? been a couple of years ago...Will test and let you know. -
The very last video on the page titled Stinger 609 production engine is of a supercharged engine in action. Pretty cool. Didn't notice it my first read?
-
HiTruckGuy :Uh,I think it's got a blower on it already... Just a picture of one??? The attached video is of standard engine.. If, it is about to go into production, would you not think they would video the supercharged version?, er, I mean if it really worked? I know my surpercharged RXP gives you a pucker factor when you lay into it. Lets just say the video was a dissapointment...and did not live up to the title...
-
Pretty good for a standard engine. Next step would be to supercharge or turbocharge it. Then maybe the first gens will be able to keep up with the second gens... Heck the engines are gonna need replaced soon their being +13 yrs old ...

I think these kinds of studies are... lacking? The reasoning is : No motorcylist in their right mind is going to hit "anything" they can avoid, as they "Know" they are going to be on the "$**T" end of the stick if they do. Therefore... it becomes a "failure to control" ones motorcycle.... and that in my opinion is ludicris...

looking to buy a ventrac 4200 diesel. slope mower .... will give $800 better than wholesale and accept as is... getting tired of the STEALERS..... Did ya know........... they take all the options off of your trade-in mowers and resell at 75% of the origional cost???????????????? WTF! So....... do yourself a big favor and take the options off, and sell on ebay. was looking at one and the dealer let it slip that he took the dualies off and it was ging to cost me an additional $2500. I'll never buy anything off of that a$$&()*)!

If something changes (potholes etc...)that takes weight off of the front wheel combined with an unbalanced condition or slightly turned wheel... STUFF can and will happen... And thats on ALL bikes. The pressure in your front forks and the rake of the forks is very, very important... -

Just a heads up for anyone with a diesel engine... It seems what the gov. did to our gasoline, they are doing to our diesel fuel. My injector pump on the 230 Massey freguson started leaking. I took it off and went to Mountaineer Diesel in St Albans WV. Can you guess what was the first words out of his mouth were? You got it... they are putting things in the fuel that are literally eating the inside of the diesel pumps out.... same as what ethanol is doing to all of our carbs... Who is making these decisions anyway? Going to cost me +600 for a rebuild and I'm seeing RED!

If you squeeze the end of any rubber hose (fuel/vacum) and cracks appear, it has served it's useful life. For a couple bucks you can replace them all. -
As these bikes are made in Japan, you've got to realize they are always a few years behind as far as trends are concerned. Believe they still are doin DISCO over there.

Performance decrease out west?
CaptainJoe replied to BigLenny's topic in Royal Star and Royal Star Tour Deluxe Tech Talk
Gas milage will go dow a little, depending on the fuel you burn(stay away from the 15% ethanol) the atltitude and the westerly winds. Really Noticed the winds around Larimie Wy. Be careful anywhere you see snow barriers or windmills (they are there for a reason) :whistling:LOL ENJOY! -
