Was anyone hurt?

I'm sure that some of you bikers HAVE to be ex hippies. I'm curious which ones, the 60's is my favorite era, i love the feel, and the emotion of the time. Pictures would be cool, or just comments, on you or your hippie friends. Peace CJ

Well hopefully our miracles in modern technology will prove fruitful. We are sure she'll be fine, because like i said before, shes a biker, so she's tough stuff

I had surgery on my toe today. I had an ingrown toenail on both sides of the toe so i went in and the doctor killed the sides and clipped the nail. Then the nail grew out AND DOWN!!! So i went back in and he clipped it again. Same result, except this time i tried to let nature heal itself and the nail was really close to breaking on through to the other side (mind the doors referance). Well the doctor said that it was so infected that I'm lucky it didn't infect the bone, and he said that it was so deep he couldn't believe that i dealt with that much pain. He also didn't believe me that my toe wasn't numb, and he gave me 8 shots. My toe was swollen at least twice the normal level and he said he couldn't get anymore numbing agent in. It hurt quite a bit! Doctor said i can be riding again in a week BUT according to the weather, i wont be for at least awhile longer. My nail wont be growing back anytime soon, and hopefully not at all. I went in there with him thinking i was a wuss, and left with him saying i had one of the worst ingrown he'd ever seen. And he's a foot specialist!

V-Max Rear Gears

Is pumpkin crazy motorcycle talk for transmission? -
Maybe you've got grease gumming up in your sensor, that could maybe be your problem
-
You sound like me riding 80 miles in 36 degree weather. I brought my chaps though, and forgot my bandana. I really really wish i would have remembered!!!! I got to the dealership and couldn't talk, but the owner understood. It said High MAYBE 40, so i got all excited!!! bad idea without that bandana, other than that i was a toaster!

That sounds really painful, but lets look at it this way. At least it was just her wrist, a fall backwards can end up alot better. I hope she gets her bone's put back in the right places without surgery, but if she rides a venture she must be tough, so i have faith!

We used to have a teacher that had a replacement nut. Damn dealership made it out of rubber!!! The sad thing is that im not kiddin, he only actually had one

An old Honda Helix 250, but i dont count that, the first REAL bike was a 77 KZ 650, which we still have

Well, i haven't ridden in awhile, so as you can all probably guess, its killing me. I have been outside scraping the last of the ice off of my street, and got the bike put back together. I have to work at 12: 30 so I'm planning to leave at 10 30. It should be fun!
-
After school me and a friend tried moving all of the ice off of my street so i can get the bike out. Well after having dad's other cop over to help, he decided to park in the middle of the street and drip fresh ice right on it! Haha, oh i love life I also have to get up at 4 this morning :97:to sand, bath at 6, school at 7, work at 5, more sanding at 10. It should be a good day tomorrow!

Dont do DW40. That stuff attracts dust and can get really gummy. Take some electric circuit cleaner, it doesn't attract dust. Maybe loosen the screw underneath before doing anything, sometimes a little more loose is all you need.

To go on my 85 VR. Hopefully cheap and working! Thank you! CJ

It's all good, now you've reached a time in your life where you slow down, and take it easy. Just relax man!

By the time i get home from school 4PM Central, my australian friend's just waking up, so right now its like, or 5 or something

Well im using the "clutch" as an engage, if you let it out slowly it will slowly put the bike into full "gear" and get it moving. Of course this is in the perfect world of mine!
