  1. I'm very sorry to hear about your loss. No parent should ever have to endure the loss of one of their own children. Condolences to you and your family and remember time heals all wounds.
  2. Please send an email out before you do as I cannot afford it at this moment
  3. From personal expeirince your cuttin 'er close at 120, I dont remember exactly the RPM's but my bike wouldnt go any faster cuz the clutch was slipping pretty bad
  4. I was fourteen in 07. I started on a 77 KZ650
  5. My mustang got in a little wreck and I found a 92 trans am for 340 bucks. I bought it before even looking at the odomoter. I got going down the road and i looked down and saw it only had 113xxx miles on it. But anyways back to my question, I want to put a 350 LT1 fuel injected motor into it, can i still run the tranny that's in it now?
  6. Yeah, we got plenty here in nebraska, so i decided i'd share some with you, hope you appreciate it!
  7. Central Time zone, im out of nebraska. I noticed you tried to call last night, i was in bed cuz i had class in the morning, i get out at 11 my time, 12 your time, so if your awake anytime after that let me know
  8. Sounds like you've an intersteing schedule. anytime this week after 11 am works for me. the number is 402 360 2024
  9. Congrats im 18 and am an uncle to 11. Lets just say my folks are a little old
  10. Be interested in a little trade? A blonde 83 and some cash for your car maybe?
  11. Well my roomate drove my 94 mustang into a 2011 GMC Cierra. Well my hoods a little smashed, so i was wondering if anyone had a 94-02 parts mustang for sale?
  12. My 85 had the same problem. I replaced the the clutch springs with heavier duty ones, and that helped some, but i could still get it to slip. My bike didnt even have 30K miles on it. I would suggest the whole clutch especially for 120
  13. So if you put a bulb that pulls more wattage in, does the bike just give it that much more wattage? Or do you have to put an amp or something like that on?
  14. Ok cool thanks alot! Its starting to sound like an easier project than what i first thought! Will definately save me a few thrown tools for sure!
  15. i do agree that that is probably the best way to go, but as a broke college kid without $300 to his name, the free idea with more work involved works for me a little better
  16. The bike that im putting the CB in didnt have one before, so will the radio thats already in it wire up right to the 5 Pin harness?
  17. The bike with the CB has a shot antanne, so i think i need a different one anyways
  18. Now the next part is getting all the necessary diagrams!!! Where do i even start to find those?
  19. Lol I ride with alot of those wingers, and they're pretty set in their ways I'm taking a trip to PA with my brother this summer and hes gonna be on his wing, so i'd like to be able to talk to him on the way.
  20. Does anyone own one with a cb? Do the original CBS allow you to talk, or only listen? I'm thinking about swapping the one from my old bike to my new bike. To do this I'll have to swap wiring harnesses too. So I guess another question of mine is, is it worth it???
  21. Have any of you ever had the fairing off? What about swapped wiring harnesses. I want to swap the harness from my 83 with a CB to my 83 without. I believe this is going to be a job, so what are some of your opinions? Would it be easier to splice in the CB? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks- CJ
  22. I believe it is called the needle daiphragm for the carb, but im not entirely sure. Started my rebuild today and noticed all the rubber boots had holes in them. Anyone who knows that its called would be much appreciated

  24. Noone that I have come across in my life so far is or ever was an original owner. Well, one reletive of mine was and he totalled it setting the cruise so i dont really know if that counts. I guess what im asking if there is anyone who is or was, what made you chose the venture over the GL 1200/1500. Have you ridden both bikes? And what are your key favorite things about both? I just figured this would be a neat thread to start. Well ill buckle up for hopefully a great story!!!
  25. They went several hundred dollars for them online. Does anyone know where i can get some cheap?
