Ok,I received my Odyssey Battery and I have a Question. If I need to charge this battery in the future do I need a special battery charger? I keep reading on it and it says use a DRY CELL type battery charger? I am assuming the Odyssey is categorized as a DRY CELL Battery? Anyway any responses is greatly appreciated. Thanks,Tom

That is the way I run mine,by what the MAX pressure says on the tire.I have read posts that the people at Avon says run higher for heavier loads but I cant find that info ANYWHERE on there site and I have found alot of the time people at these companies give their opinions. I will stay with the rating on the tire. No offense to anyone who does otherwise, just works for me. Tom

I will just stay in South Texas.

Big Shell,The bar weights are the same. I dont know if the fairing will allow the immediate width of the RSTD bars though?

Wrong..Dumb is not asking, but you probably have it figured out now,it is under the seat. The nuts to take it off is a pain so I replaced mine with I think 6mm wing nuts and so much easier to take off and on. My battery went dead this winter but got in on a group buy thru "Conder" and put an Odyssey battery in. It sure seems to start faster now. Tom

Something is Wrong..I have them and our speed limit is 80 out here so I hit 80 and above ALOT..no wobbles or vibrations. I would check it out thouroughly as you probably have already. Nothing else get them off and see if they can be adjusted by thre tire dealer.Be careful!

Same situation as Redneck kind of..I drive a truck all over the place.Truck Drivers and Cops seem to see the lowest form of life out there and A gang came after me in OKC...I drew down on them and they scattered..Just glad I was carrying,I called the cops and they had said alot of drivers had been severely beaten there and robbed..No,I was not at a place I should not have been, I was at a delivery at a grocery warehouse in a parking lot waiting for my appt...I thank God I have the FREEDOM to protect myself,as good as cops are they cant be everywhere all the time. Just my 2 cents.

I carry all the time, will not carry into Canada. I have and have had a Texas CCL for over 10 years. It is good in nearly all the states I travel in. Noone knows I have it on me and as mentioned earlier,I hope I never have to use it..

Krispy Here are better pics so you can see the pegs and lower vents together..Hope it helps.
-
Krispy,Yes I have them both..they are tight the way I have them located but I can open them all the way and close them so No problem. If you live in the south worth investing in a set..Seattle yamaha has them at 25% off..I have the website if you need it as that isnt their exact name. Here is the link http://www.yamahasportsplaza.com/

Very nice place..Next question...Are we gonna have a meet and eat at your place? I will bring some BBQ from Texas! Tom

They are tinted..I think my flash makes it appear more clear. I love the vents,in the winter I can ride with tennis shoes on and my feet are warm IF I keep them closed..In the summer I open them all the way and it really creates a nice breeze thru to the driver and my wife says she can feel it also..My Garage is 28Ftwide and 24ft deep ,my wife makes me keep it to the outer part..I noticed it does make my garage not look so cluttered.Keep thinking that way!

Not good pics buthere is a pic of mine.. Tom

Humidity is unreal there, lived there 18 years but that is where the money is at for alot of folks. Another plus though is go west for riding and you are in the hill country in about 2.5 hours.Enough members over here also to spend the weekend with to enjoy the great riding we have over here also! Give a call somtme if you get this way, plenty of room and in the heart of GREAT riding. Tom
