  1. I bought a magnetic trunk bag and stuck it in there.
  2. It happened to me last year. You need a new switch.
  3. I have 38876 on front and back original pads.
  4. My inseam is also 30. I had Rick Butler lower the seat and that helped. I was still on my toes.I did a lot of research and went with the Barrons lowering kit for the front and back. If you do this level the front and back even. There are two front kits from Barron,go with the best one and you will be happy.I rode 31000 miles stock and always was careful where I would stop and on what kind of surface. I just rode 7200 miles in 15 days with the lowering kits and don't know why I did not do this when it was new.I can now stand flat and firm on any surface. Hoe this helps.
  5. Just wanted to say thanks to Rick Butler for making my seat road ready for my trip of 7200 miles the most comfortable ride ever on my bike. We rode two days back to back of 700 miles plus. This was the best money spent. Thanks also to Buddy Rich for the cable set-up.
  6. You can order a glare stopper on the net. I got one for my zummo and rode to virgina, works great.

  9. Rick, I want to thank you for taking care of my seat. I have since put about 1200 miles on it. Very comfortable. I will be riding out west in july to give it a better test. Thank's again. Tony C
  10. Don, i have had my 99 venture for 10 yrs. My inseam is 30''. The only thing i did not like was the height since day one. I have put 31000 miles on it and still felt uneasy at stops. Very heavy bike. The 1st of may i had rick butler lower my seat and shave the sides. That helped. I rode 850 miles and still was not 100% satisfied.i bought a front and rear lowering kit from barron's on line. I took the bike and kit's to my yamaha dealer and had them installed. I picked it up saturday and rode today about 120 miles. I should of done this 10 yrs ago, what a great feeling to touch flat footed at stops.i will be leaving for california in july for a 8 to 10000 mile trip. I can't wait its like riding a new bike built just for me. This is my 2 cents worth. Good luck.
