Yup! That's the advantage of those pancake 6's, a lot of weight very low to the ground! Yes they do handle that well! I will admit they are better than the average rider but it all comes with experience and confidence in the bike's capabilities. I'm too old for that kind of stuff these days though...

I have one on mine, but it does not work out as well as I hoped using it as a rear view mirror. It does work fine for backing the trike into a parking spot, etc...

OK swapping out the wiring harness does require stripping the bike down to the frame and pulling your battery box to get to all the connectors, and removing the headlight assembly as well, but it is not impossible or difficult, just very time consuming. Part of me thinks you should just swap out your carbs and replace the o rings on the intake manifolds and turn your daily driver into the parts bike...

For just reading my vote is for the Kindle. If you don't need the color version the B&W ones are superior and a lot cheaper! They can be found for under $100 and work great in all lighting conditions...
