    Step 1, buy a mounting setup from Carbon One, a member on this site. Step 2, follow his included instructions! Or, if you are a bit of a McGuiver, physically make your own mounting bracket. Use the existing horn wires to trigger the relay, and have the relay switch on and off a direct line from the battery with thicker wire, at least 14 gauge. Make sure the ground wire is just as thick. Toot away!!!!!

    Well, yesterday I did a whoops and ended up taking I90 thru Chicago. Made it out alive so all is good. Met up with Boo and Hoo and we went ove3r to Flying Fool's place. Had a wonderful time socializing and an excellent pizza dinner. Also got to sample Jeff's famous rum balls and all I can say is YUMMM!!! Off to Mall of America for 2 days. Forgot to take pictures except of driving thru Chicago...

    If by some remote chance you are in Western New York then look us up! Nice time for the colors, I would recommend ddoing the northern New England states first then, and the southern ones last. It will stay warmer longer closer to the Atlantiuc ocean. While in Vermont do the road between Bennington and Brattleboro, very scenic that time of year... There are covered bridges to see to the north in Vermont...

    That's a tough one, soooo muxh to see and do! I would suggest a circular trip say like enter in Connecticutt into Rhode Island and Mass up to Maine then across New Hampshire and Vermont. I suggest spending a day or two in Mystic, CT. What time of year are you doing this??

    Hi Ya'all!! I'm on Ragtop's computer. No chance to post pictures from tonite but having the time of our lives!! Jay and Jeannie are great hosts!! Fun crowd showed up tonite and I'm stuffed!!! Try to post a couple of pic's tomorrow! So far today's adventures. Left the house 3 times before we were finally on the road! Saw some Canadian wildlife on the QEW, a "Timmy's" cup rolling across the highway. Marcarl suggested a great place for lunch, Montana's and it was very good and filling!! Coming across at Michigan the last question the Customs guy asked is if I ever lost my car in a parking lot! He then mentioned the initials on my door to explain his comment. Got here about quarter to 6. Spending part of tomorrow with my sister in a nearby town, expect to get to the other side of the state by tomorrow evening. Meeting up with Boo and Hoo Friday afternoon on the way to Flying Fool's place! I got this really cool retirement baloon from the MI gang and I'm collecting autographs along the way!

    Today's the day!!! Getting some last minute things done, and as soon as the mail comes it's off to see dead presidents and native Americans! First stop West Bloomfield MI and see some of the MI crowd! I'll try to post pictures as the trip progresses...

    Don't you hate intermittant problems?!!? OK the first suspect will be the kickstand switch for sure, but the neutral switch will do it as well!! I am assuming you are trying to start in neutral, but if you are trying to start in gear then maybe the clutch lever switch is bad.You can ohm out the kickstand switch and you should read near zero. One set of contacts is open asnd the other closed with the kickstand down, and reverse with the kickstand up! If you read even a few ohms unstead of zero the switch is probably bad. I had one that read 4 ohms and was defective on the bike!! You can wire all 3 wires together to temporarily fix the problem but you can now start in gear with the clutchn out so be careful!! You may want to start checki9ng asll the connectors on the side of the bike for corrosion as there are a few conectors that can cause this or something similar...
