  1. www.thegsresources.com Lots of good help there.
  2. Yup. Definitely a scammer.
  3. You know the rules......pictures, or it didn't happen. Let's see 'em!!!
  4. Yup. The Docs say it would be much worse to have all the little scars that I would have after removal, so I shouldn't worry about them. They don't bother me much. Most are about the size of a dime, or smaller.
  5. That looks EXACTLY like my bike, except it has no hitch.
  6. Have a safe trip home. Glad to see you coming back.
  7. I have several lumps, but they hardly ever itch. The Docs say they are fatty tumors, and won't hurt anything. I've had them for years.

    rain

I don't mind riding in the rain, but I hate riding in the rain at night. When headlights hit those water droplets, I can hardly see. If something was laying in the road, I would hit it before I got a chance to react to it. I rode 39 miles to work Friday morning in the rain, and it was dark outside. Seems like I met 3 times the oncoming cars I normally do.
  9. Maybe apply for a Loss Prevention Officer at Wallyworld. You just walk around in plainclothes and catch shoplifters. I have a friend who does that here, and she loves it.

    PC Help

The way I read his post is that he is already running windows 7, and just wants to know if he can hook up an IDE drive as a slave. I could be wrong.....happened once before.

    PC Help

If you have IDE connectors you can. Just set it to slave and hook it up. The machine will autodetect it.

    rain

Been raining like crazy here too. It's supposed to be gone by morning, and be in the 60's tomorrow, so I may be able to ride to work. I'm soooo sick of rain.

    What a DAY!

Now, if you woulda started out on the first gen, then you woulda never broke out the 2nd gen...as you woulda been content with what you had.
  14. I wonder if my picture ID from the VA hospital would work as proof?
  15. I would love to have it, but I can't make it to your doorstep right now. I live in West Tn, and that darn thing called "work" gets in the way of me traveling there at the moment.
  16. That's where the depth finder goes!!
  17. Sorry to hear it. Rest in Peace.
  18. Rest in Peace my friend, although we never had the chance to meet.
  19. I have plugged MANY tires. I keep a plug kit in my truck just in case. As long as it's in the tread area, and not in the sidewall, you should be ok.
  20. Good luck, and have a safe trip. I hope you can speak Spanish...lol.
  21. She is in our thoughts here. All will be ok.
  22. Remember, you get a hotter spark and much better starting if you DO NOT have both resistor caps AND resistor plugs. Since I removed the resistors from my caps, and replaced them with short pieces of #8 copper wire, the bike starts 100% better. I never give any throttle when starting, unless it's flooded. You may be flooded, and if you want to test whether or not you are, then open the throttle completely, and crank it until it starts. This allows more air to enter, and usually recovers from the flooded condition.
  23. I used to ride in one of those when I was a little boy. My Dad drove one for a rock quarry in Kentucky, when I was younger. He used to take me down in the mines...that was scary at the time.
  24. I think they might be just gonna sync up your carbs to be sure. Good luck!!
  25. I have lived in both areas, and I would think you'd have to worry about the rust in Schaumburg more, unless you park it between now and May.
