Welcome to the darkside- I have the Kumho as well and really like the ride. I also have a 2007 10:30 Venture

HEY guys - I only live 30 minutes from Pinwall, so if anybody needs a quick glance at something before buying it - let me know.

My bike is in the garage and I have to walk by it to go out to the truck, car or just outside. It used to be about a 3 or 4 second walk to the garage door & out, now I notice it takes a couple minutes to get from the man door at the house to the overhead garage door. The reason is of course the fault of Ponch firstly for designing the gauge set and right next to first is Monty for the great install. I can't thank either one of them enough for the great job and I can't quit stopping to look at the gauges every time I walk past the bike. My utmost THANKS to both of you :clap2::clap2::clap2:

Monty - Thanks again for the gauge install, they look great !! Had I tried to do it at home (alone) I most likely would have missed the entire riding season. See ya at Potato Creek -

Gunkylump - I have to repeat your words verbatim - Monty started my gauges Friday after a long ride to MD. Didn't get them finished friday evening but we got it done Saturday AM just in time to get your bike in the garage. Thanks Ponch for the design and Thanks Monty for the install. What a difference in appearance and what a GREAT addition to my Venture - My Thanks to both of you !

Being a junior member of this family, I am so impressed with the willingness of everybody to lend a helping hand, advice and info with regard to maintaining our bikes and the ever present air of "we can help, just ask" attitude. Thank You Freebird for being you and thank you Eileen for allowing the circus to come to your beautiful home. :happy65: -

My 2007 has never been changed - clutch or brake -
I'm likely to have a couple 'cold ones' while keeping a lookout for the pond monsters.

and a sergeant of a local PD - you would think he would be more aware of his surroundings. not saying politics will be involved but I would really like to see the outcome of this case. The article already said that the jeep failed to give right of way -

I'm not an expert on GPS's but waterproof would be the first thing to look at. The 765t doesn't say anything about that however, as I read the board , I've noticed a lot of guys have units other than motorcycle specific 550's & 650's. You will still have to get a mount for the bike, maybe a second power cord - and while you're at the GPS Store, look at their 3 year warranty and even the lifetime update card. oooops - now we're up to over $400, might want to consider a 550 since it already has all that stuff

I was out of town over the week end and did not hear the news. Ponch - my deepest sympathies to you and your family.
