Dan I recently pmd buddy rich about just such a cable. He does make one for a first gen to connect a gps to the intercom setup. From my understanding it will let your gps connect throught the sound system on your bike. The draw back is the gps itself. You have to have a gps with adio out and a mic in setup as I remember. Not sure if the tom tom does thta. Give Buddy a pm and he can feel you in more in detail than I can. I know my gps want work with iut as it has not got the proper in and out hookups. Hope this helps. http://www.petloss.com/rbowx.gifRainbow Bridge http://www.petloss.com/rbowx.gif Just this side of heaven is a place called Rainbow Bridge. When an animal dies that has been especially close to someone here, that pet goes to Rainbow Bridge. There are meadows and hills for all of our special friends so they can run and play together. There is plenty of food, water and sunshine, and our friends are warm and comfortable. All the animals who had been ill and old are restored to health and vigor; those who were hurt or maimed are made whole and strong again, just as we remember them in our dreams of days and times gone by. The animals are happy and content, except for one small thing; they each miss someone very special to them, who had to be left behind. They all run and play together, but the day comes when one suddenly stops and looks into the distance. His bright eyes are intent; His eager body quivers. Suddenly he begins to run from the group, flying over the green grass, his legs carrying him faster and faster. You have been spotted, and when you and your special friend finally meet, you cling together in joyous reunion, never to be parted again. The happy kisses rain upon your face; your hands again caress the beloved head, and you look once more into the trusting eyes of your pet, so long gone from your life but never absent from your heart. Then you cross Rainbow Bridge together.... Author unknown...

not trying to get into your buisiness but I just had a complete hard drive failure and my desk top. I took the hard drive out and trashed /recycled the rest. Took the hardrive to best but and had them remove all our pics email info and evrything else and they backed it up on a 500 gb external hard drive for $150. I was then able to reload what I needed back on my lapyop and the wifes laptop tha we bought to replace the desktop. May not work for you ut its worth a try. David

Im in the process of putting led light strips in the rear trunk light bar on my 91 vr. It is already wired for running ,brake , and turn signal. Im replaceing the incandescent bulbs with light strips to save on some electrical draw. Not sure if Ill replace the turn bulbs or not as they are only on briefly. I have arleady replaced the running bulbs with 2 12 inch superbright led strips. Going to replace the brake bulbs with the same size srtips. Here is the Question. Since its already wired for brake lights in there, is there a flasher module I can put inline to make the strips for the brake lights falsh instead of being solid or at least flash a few times before they go solid. Any help will be apreciated. TAhnks in advance David

They had to remove her entire thyroid glad friday in surgery. had the tingling fingers that went to complete numbness when on a long ride. Especially if I couldnt set the cruz. Mostly in my right hand but ocationally on my left. Went ahead and gave in as riding was when it hurt the least( work made it hurt like someone was hitting it with a hammer everytime my heart beat by the end of the day). Now I can make it through the day with no pain but havent went back to work yet just things like mowing the yard and such that used to kill me( push mower and an acre of land). I did get to ride almost 400 miles in one day on my b-day after I had the right hand done and before the left one was done. Not so much as a tingle much less numbness or pain. If yours is that far gone that it actually starts getting numband painfull I would advise getting checked for carpal tunnell syndrome at least. If surgerys not your thoughts then they have other treatments too.........good luck either ay David

I come here simply asking for a prayer or 2 if your are so inclined. I havent said anything as of yet till now because the docs werent sure what they were going to do. She has had a knot on the side or her neck for a wile now and I finally talked her into seeing her doc over it. They did a biopsy and pull quite a bit of fluid out for a test and it came back inconclusive. Now the docs are saying the only way to tell if its cancer or not is to operate and remove the knot from her thyrooid gland. Docs also sy it might explain why her apetite had fallen of in the last couple of months. ANywyas thanks for letting me ramble and humbly ask this favor of my family. David
