I think you have a point here. I can get one tank full from my stock seat and then my butt aches, it's not my tail bone, it's my hip bones. Last fall 3 of went for an all day ride, it was cool and I was cool so I wore my skidoo suit most of the day. It's slippery on the outside and so I think my butt moved around some. I didn't even think of a sore butt that day. Like I said, I think you have a point. The corbins are hard so you don't sink in and saty put and the cover let's you slide a litlle from place to place. Did I say I think you have a point?

Friends of ours took the scoot, an 84, to Canadian Tire one day. While inside he decides it's a good time to stock up on oil, seeing as it was on sale. They come out with 8 'gallons' plus whatever else they had gone in for. As they came out to the parking lot looking for their Suburban, they all of a sudden realized that it only had 2 wheels today. Took them a while, but it all went home in one trip, although I think she carried something.

You should maybe start a new thread on your issue, so it don't get lost in the shuffle. Then you will get more pointed help.

Train yourself well on that machine,,,you'll love it,,,,so much so that soon you'll want more,, more chrome,,more comfort, more power,, more speed,, more handling capabilities,, more mileage,,,come to think of it,, I think Yammer's right. It's looking good so far, keep the rubber down, and the skid lid high, and you'll enjoy it for many years.

Take out the left front signal light and you'll find 2 inline fuses that supply the radio etc. Power goes from there to the radio\tape player, and then across to the CB. One fuse is for constant power, the other is for switched power.

When you take off the vaccum line, spray some carb cleaner, MotoMaster is the best I've found, into the vaccum port. Wait 15 or 20 minutes and do it again. If it won't take a spray it is plugged, can happen over the winter. Use a thin brass wire to start a small hole though which you can force some cleaner, wait and then try it again. A little air pressure sometimes also helps in the process. -
Your local bearing dealer will probably carry them, you just have to get the right numbers.

At least they chose a good country to buy from.. Hope you get it straightened out soon,,,we Dutch don't like that sort of publicity, and I don't think you like forking out any money to cover somebody else's expenses.

From experience and watching others: First off, you're right about the money part, no issue there, but it could change as the financial world shows today. Second and more important is the'life' part. Option 1: put up a shell and finish it with the help of your son and others maybe, learn to teach someone how to work, run hydro, do plumbing, hammer nails, paint, stain, and be patient while the work delve lopes. Learn to plan things out and see the results. Option 2: Build it complete now and have time for play together,,,, if he doesn't get totally involved computer games (which one doesn't), gets too busy with friends, (which will be paramount) decided on a whim that baseball is not his thing (peers have input here). If you spend it now, you can't change your mind later,,, what's spent is gone. If you spend a little now and save to spend more later, it's worth a lot more when you get it done, because you've had to work and wait for it,,, and you can change your plans as you go. Did you ask for input??? or merely just pose a question,,, anyway you got input. JMHO Carl
