    I wanted to change the headlight on my 82 yamaha 750 maxim to a round one till i looked in the headlight bucket and seen about a hundred wires in there, so i still have my big square lite.

    I had a chance to get out and ride on Friday it was sunny and 48, a little cool but it was nice being on the bike.

    I was just talking to my wife about a gift i got when i was real young, i was about 8 or 9 i think i got a put together cardboard spaceship that i could get inside. That was the coolest thing i got that year. I'm talking 1958 or 59. Imagine something as simple as that compared to what is out there today.

    My wife got a coupon on cyber Monday for 20% off the Dale Jarrett Racing Adventure so she signed me up. So on Febuary 9 i'll be at Talladega Superspeedway to do 20 laps, driving 10 with a instructor and 10 by my self in cars that do do up to 185 MPH. Is that going to be fun or what, i canted wait.

    Had a great turkey meal with my family and got to watch the Lions lose again. Happy Turkey Day to all.

    Anybody got lucky this year yet? Shooting a deer I mean. I took a 5 point on Nov. 15 at one in the afternoon. I still have a doe permit that I hope to fill during muzzleloader season.

    The 87 I just bought is the same bike. Same color blue and some of the same chrome. Real sharp Bike.

    Some of us even go both ways, owening a first and second gen. This way we can have all kinds of fun.

    Can't wait till next year so we can take the first gens out for a spin. Take it easy now get all better.

    Mine are always gassed up and ready to go, as long as its above 40.

    My first gen starts every time quick but cranks slow like a bad battery. Battery checks good, cables are clean. Is there a common problem to look at first? Battery is not new.

    That Blue is the same as my 87 std. Great color, looks real nice.

    Just moved my axle washer to the rite place, now everything works perfect!

    I'm glad to see this post because i just had the same problem when i pulled my rear tire off but i just put washers between the caliper and its mount and it worked out ok. Now that i've seen this i'll fix it the rite way.

    Found a billet alluminum one on ebay for $25, i think i got a pretty good deal.

    Where is there a good place to get a super brace for a first gen? Does anybody here make them, if so how much.
