Dont forget, you can have your seat modified to get you a good inch or 2 lower without altering suspension. Rick Butler would be the guy to see on this he does great work on seats. He has an add in 2nd gen classifieds. Craig

Yep the 06, I was lucky, his truck wouldnt start so he couldnt make a getaway, had to help him push it off my bike. Funny now, wasnt funny then:doh: Craig

Tom, I have 3 sump pits in my finished basement, I know the PIA when a pump dies, they do sell a monitor with a warning buzzer when the water gets to hi in the pit. Also 4- 90degree elbows and a couple lengths of 4" pvc will keep stuff dry and up out of the water. Craig

Dont think you need to worry about being inflammatory, thanks for keeping us updated, I run the same oil and filter you are, so I am interested in seeing what they do. As you stated there are so few of these that "blow" that they feel it cant be their motor and must be something "you" did, unfortunately thats there mentality rite now. Bet it changes once they get inside and see what let loose. Wish you the best with your parents, been there its not fun, but in the scheme of things it will move the bike way down on the list.
