  1. I just bid on an auction. I didn't use the "Buy it now", the same person is selling more. Just search for "BG 44k 10" and it will bring up his auctions. He usually runs 3 or 4 at a time. I paid 95 + 25 shipping.
  2. Well, it showed up. 1 can burst during shipment. Some of the others are dented but not leaking. The labels are goobered up, but the product is fine. Brian, Rick, let me know when you're able to pick it up. Hey Jack, I might could spare a can if you'd like one and I've still got your wrench riding in my saddlebag. I'm off this weekend if you'd like to meet up.
  3. I run plain ole Rotella T in the white jug. Costs around 11bux and a Purolater PL14610 filter. It's the larger version of the 14612.

    Size matters

As far as I know, the 165 is as wide as we can go. BUT I don't think anyone else has tried to go wider.
  5. First come, first serve. It's Brian's and Rick's.
  6. cool. It was just a much better deal to buy 10 cans over 3 or 4. I figure I'll keep 4 cans for myself and sell the other 6 cans.
  7. After reading the recommendations for using the 44K over Seafoam, I bought some off eBay. I bought 10 cans and now I'm awaiting delivery, so if anyone near Amarillo would like to try it, I may have a little left over. $12/can is what I paid for it shipped. Thanks, Forrest.
  8. If you have the tow package, the wiring adapter that tees in could be bad.
  9. I broke 3 belts on my Roadstar in 40,000 miles. The last one pissed me off really bad and I sold the damn thing. I won't own another belt driven bike. Some folks may get that kind of mileage on a belt, but they ride like the guys that get 25,000 miles on a Dunlop 404.

  11. Looks like normal scuff marks to me. I think 32lbs may be a bit low. I've always ran 40-50psi depending on the brand of tire.
  12. aw crap, I had to read your response twice to figger out what you just said.... My understanding of what you just posted is that you believe that the current recommendations of regulating the health care industry are bad, but instead, they need to come up with even MORE regulations and restrictions? Really? Is that what I'm reading here?
  13. I used to run Delo 400, but it didn't get dirty enough for me.
  14. Shell, Chevron, and Texaco are all part of the Equilon corporation. I run Rotella because it can be found everywhere.
  15. I personally use Rotella T 15w40. Others use 10w40, still others use 20w50. In my opinion, today's oil far surpass the oils of the early 80's and as long as the oil is not "energy conserving", it will be fine.
  16. It's about like a tractor, you have to split the bike in half to do a clutch on it.
  17. What section is the picture in?
  18. Ive had my Kumho over 100mph.
  19. I don't use credit cards. Everyone moaned and groaned about the way credit cards companies did business. Congress has written laws to "regulate" the companies. The companies are raising their rates to pay for these new regulations that will be kicking in soon. To quote Dave Ramsey, "Debt is dumb, Cash is King"
  20. What brand and size of tire are you trying?
  21. He probably looked up a Kumho Solaris instead of the Kumho PowerStar.
  22. To lower the front of the Venture, you merely have to move the fork tubes up into the triple trees. There are no parts to buy, just labor and it's completely reversible. The BFG car tire lowers the rear end about an inch.
  23. Not familiar with that, but if you're going through Southern CO, hit the highway of legends. I did an iron butt through there and plan on going back next year to take my time and enjoy it. http://www.sangres.com/shol/ http://www.trinidadco.com/Main/HighwayofLegends.asp
