  1. Bet Snarly Bill would give ya a run for your money with his Cushman. My first 2 wheeler was a Allstate scooter.
  2. Not the news we like to hear so will keep him and family in thoughts & preyers. Thanks for the update. Larry
  3. Nope. I'm good on the list now folks. But if anyone thinks that they weren't on it and want to be, then sure send out a hello. Larry
  4. Thanks everyone. Both those who contacted me and responder here at VR. I did find my list of contacts buried in the new pc when I had my old pc's files copied. Just had to find that list and do a transfer to the new Outlook 2010 program. Larry
  5. I have used AVG Free in the past as well as Norton. Due to having to replace my pc over the weekend I got Trend Micro antivirus + as part of the pc package I bought. We'll see how it goes. If not happy with this then I'll use AVG Antivirus & Internet Security or maybe Kaspersky or maybe Microsoft Security Essentials. While I have used Norton's Symantec in the past on an older pc it had a big footprint as others here noted. This new pc has at minumin 4 times or more as much memory so the Norton vervion is probably ok too. Larry
  6. Ok folks last week my pc crashed and I had to replace it with a new tower. I had a Outlook 2003 program on it for my e-mails. Due to replacing the pc tower I had to upgrade to Outlook 2010. (no cd disc for the Outlook 2003 program). So now I'm starting back to 0 on my contact list. If you want me to have your e-mail ady then send me a short note with your address and I'll put ya in my address book. Here's my address -- lskeels@wowway.com Same one that's in my profile info here at VR. Thanks, Larry
  7. The Little Guy trailer might be OK for a triked RSV but even then it'd be quit a heavy load to be behind you. Like Doc says more wear and tear on clutches & brakes. Just pulling my small teardrop trailer at 300 lb + load is all I ever want behind me. For a small car or truck I think that Little Guy would be great. Larry
  8. I too had broken tabs early on so what I did was use a piece of 1/8" welding rod with a flat washer welded on the ends. One end attaches to the spot where the fairing bracket is and the other end goes to the speaker mounting screw. On another note I found recently that the outer fairing was starting to develope some cracks around where a couple of the washers held the fairing to the metal bracket. My fix for that was to use some thin brass stock between the fairing and washered screws. The brass was easyly bent to conform to the fairings curve. Doing this will spread out the load from the screws over a larger area, preventing more damage being done. Also used some expoxy to repair the cracks. Larry
  9. PayPal on the way Karl & Abby. Hoping that life for you both will take a turn for the better sooner then later. Merry Christmas friend. Larry
  10. Sure am happy for you Annie. Enjoy your summer. Larry
  11. For the under bag rails? 7/8" is what I measured. Larry
  12. That's because I haven't ever offered any for sale here in the classifieds. As Rickardracing said I did build one for him & his brother's venture. I do intend to get some built sometime soon (probably after Christmas) as I want to build up welding jigs for them first, so stay tuned . Also I haven't decided to build a conventional hitch or a hidden style or both. Maybe some input here will guide me in what most folks would prefer. Larry
  13. I too wish a Merry Christmas to Don & Eileen, as well as to the entire VR family here. May all have a wonderfull & safe New Year as well. Larry
  14. Great news seeing Dan going home. Get well as soon as you can Dan. Larry
  15. Awesome news Annie. Glad to hear this affir is finally coming to an end and you'll soon be in the wind. Larry
  16. Looking good John. You'll love the stability once you get used to its handling quirks. Enjoy the trikers world. Larry
  17. Guy didn't even attemp to clean them up either and on top of that wants to profit on shipping costs?????? No way. Larry
  18. Sorry to hear of your Fathers accident. Hopefully you'll soon be hearing good results from the Doc's. Till then thoughts & prayers for him & family. Larry
  19. I didn't see a door for the scoot. So I guess it's not a true toy hauler? Nice camper btw. Larry
  20. Oh my Lonna is another year younger now. No matter just the same. Wishing you many more Lonna. Enjoy your special day. Larry
  21. I had a big water puddle yesterday in my back yard which is very rare here. Yep flood warnings all over wherever there's a creek flowing, especially in the downriver areas near Lake Erie. Got up this morn to just a trace of snow on the ground and may get more by tonight. Winter is upon us now. :-( Larry
  22. Like evryone else who has posted so far Joyce & I are happy to see you making some great progress in your recovery. Don't let any speed bumps along that recovery road slow you down as they will only be a short set back. We'll be looking forward to seeing you & Rose again sometime somewhere down the road. Get well my friend. Larry
  23. The balance point with most jacks will be when the left lift arm is aligned with the exhausts heat shield. Of course this can vary depending on just how much "stuff" there is in the bags and trunk (if you have a Venture). Just move the jack fore or aft to get that balance point. You'll know when that happens once the tires leave the ground. Larry
  24. Looks like he's one happy camper on it. I know you both will really be enjoying riding it. Larry
  25. Having been in those decision making shoes its not a decision taken lightly. May John rest in peace with the Father with Jeanie at his side. Prayers for all and thanks for letting us know. Larry
