Well Annie we have spoken so rest easy on this topic now. You have plenty enough other things on your plate to think of between now and when you arrive. Larry

I would agree with the others here. Once you have a handicap license plate, placard, or sticker then any and all states will reconize it. Even when crossing the borders between Canada & the US. I know in our experince going from state to state or into Canada we've never had any problems when parking in a handicaped parking space. Our cars has the handicap plate and sometimes on the bike I'll use a placard. Personally I think most leo's wouldn't bother you if you have a proper plate or whatever showing you qualify for parking in handicap spots. Larry

Well that's a start at least and once you get that all important 2nd opinion you'll have a better idea of what needs to be done to get you back to where you don't have this problem anymore. Wishing nothing but the best to you. Larry

Good thing she had her Guadian Angel with her today. Cars can be fixed or replaced. Much much harder to fix up or replace loved ones. Wishing her no futher problems as well. Larry

Wow another B-day already??? Well we won't ask how many this makes. Have a nice day. Larry

Mine get run day or night but I did install a relay & switch in the circuit so I can shut them off when parked and idling. My low beam is set up the same way so if both switches are off only the parking/running lights are on with the bike running. I run the spots even when I have high beam on as well. Usually this is only at night on a country road. Larry

My vote is to leave it as is. Larry

Hey Annie just bumping this up for ya since I was looking at the itinerary you posted a while back. Times drawing near and pretty soon it'll be a go for you & Alan. I'll see you guys at Don's and again cross paths at the International rally. Larry

Congratulations on all 3 life changing events. Ya I would say you're on your way to being classified as an old fart. LOL But don't worry too much about that, just enjoy that growing family of yours. Larry

Sorry to hear of your mishap but at least the Hubby passed his tests. Congrats to him. Now you can start palling for your next test. Larry

My bet would be a clogged up converter as well. An easy test would be to disconnect the converter in front and then do a test drive or run the engine to see how it preforms. If it runs normal then problem solved. Back when cars first started using catalyst converters people were clogging them up by running regular leaded gas instead of unleaded with much of the same results you are experiencing now. Larry

Withou looking at a map just now we may pass thru your area on the way to the international rally in July. Stay tuned. Larry

If it's looking bad then just drop this project with this guy. Unless you've already commited the funds to get them made. Surely either you or someone else can come up with a decent price for the decals somewhere else. Larry larry

Cruise Control dis-engaging
Carbon_One replied to Seaking's topic in Royal Star Venture Tech Talk ('99 - '13)
If all of the above suggestion fail then look into replacing the speedo sensor. I was having pretty much the same problems on my bike for a while till I changed out the sensor. Problem solved larry -
5 days left but sent in the funds already. Thanks for the reminder Larry

It really doesn't matter to me either way Don has this set up. Normally if someones asks me about my products I just copy the link that lists all my ads and send it to em. That way they see the entire list of items I have to offer. Larry
-
Good luck with that project. If it works out well I'm betting more then a few of the Hannigan trikers will follow suit. Larry
-
Don from my experince I have had people asking if I still offered my products, as like you say they couldn't find the ads. Once I pointed them in the right diection then they were ok. I do think it was easier finding stuff under the various headings, 1st gen, 2nd gen parts list for example. Just my Larry

I live about 5 miles from the Village & Museum. They're next to each other in fact. I've been there many times over the years and never get tired of seeing what's going on either in the village or what's new in the museum since there's always something changed. Through out the year the village has various festivals going on. Check their online calendar for more info. There's horse drawn buggies to ride or steam engined trains to rest those legs. Attendants are dressed in period dress to add to the early atmosphere. The village has building scattered about with entry into them showing life from pioneer to early 1900's. As an example one building is devoted to Thomas Edison and his work. It would be a days outing to see everything. Most folks from out of town spend most of 2 days if going to both. Larry

I used a tank sealer on the auxiliary tank I built for the trike. Don't remember what product I used but it worked well. Ended up with a nice epoxy type finish inside. I can look it up if yopu want me too. Larry PS: OK I looked up what I used -- http://www.caswellplating.com/aids/epoxygas.htm
