I have used shaving cream to clean my glasses, ( Do not have a face sheild ) and it works pretty good, but have to do it every day....I hate glasses.....

I don`t think you over did the seafoam, I run a full can with a full tank... sounds like the bowls just over filled..but I`m not much with Carbs. I think if you just change the plugs and get her out on the road where you can run the crap out of her she will be fine..then get your carbs cynced... it does make it nice to have your own place to work... like you said, even when its real cold its nice to be able to just tinker...
