I have only started looking and found the HJC IS-16 interesting. Has anyone an opinion on one of these that had worn one? One thing is a I noticed a year ago while skiing is that I develop anxiety with those close fitting sunglasses after about 10 minutes. I am wondering if I will experience the same thing with this helmet. http://ecx.images-amazon.com/images/I/31%2BqLIkovnL._SL500_AA300_.jpg The attached image will give you an idea of the glasses I had a problem with. Dunno if it has to do with the curvature of the lens or not.

I was wondering how many of us are planning on going Leesburgs for bikefest??? We are planning on being down there all three days, staying not to far away in Wildwood. Would like to see if anyone wants to meet and ride in together a day or two or just meet there. Our first time going , don't really know what to expect just going down to relax and enjoy riding.

I purchased an 09 Venture new last April and have a little over 9000 miles on it now. I was in a long sweeper at highway speed and took my left hand off to set the cruise and a wobble started to come in as soon as I removed my hand. I checked the front and rear suspension, pressures and alignment and everything seemed fine. Took it out and tried it again and it did the same thing again. Have since noticed that it occurs at a lower highway speed when I am riding double. I was wondering if the scoops in the fairing could be causing this at speed when turning and also if the leveling links might help out. It stops as soon as both hands are on the bars and there aren't any impulses felt in the bars when riding under any conditions. Wondering if it is just a quirk of the bike at speed.

I am thinking of trailering my bike to Asheville NC May 7-13th and camping on the BPR with my 2 little dogs, was just wondering if anyone would like to go for a nice ride while I was up there.

Hi All New guy here! I have an 85VR that needs a TCI I am not interested in a used one (good money after bad) and new is way over priced!! I’ve been reading your forum on Aftermarket TCI (www.venturerider.org/forum/showthread.php?t=37031.) and was wondering has anybody else tried one? On our way home from the International this year we plan on stopping at six flags at Gurnee Ill just north of Chicago. We want to camp with our camper and were wondering if anyone has any advice on this. The original plan was to stop at the Wisconsin Dells but you know how plans change.

Howdy to all and thanks in advance for your help. I have a 90 vr with 13k on it that pulls the front wheel off the ground on a smooth shift into 2nd gear. That isn't normal is it? When you look at the weight to HP ratio and then factor my big ass on it, this doesn't seem likely to me. All my other bikes have been lighter with shorter gears & about the same HP and this one is definitely quicker. I've talked to people at 2 local Yamaha dealers and they seem at least as puzzled as I am. I need to get the valves etc. done in a couple thousand miles and wondering if there's anything they need to know about and how I can find out more about it. Can anyone recommend a shop anywhere in my area? I live near Duluth MN. The guy I bought it from had it about 5 years and put 3k on it, bought it in Colorado & says he doesn't know anything about the history. Thanks again.

I just ordered a Clearview XXL clear w/vent for '00 RSV. I looked on another post that showed how to remove windshield. Seems pretty straight forward. I was just wondering if its acually as easy as it looks. Thanks, can't wait to get the new shield.

I'm getting a CB sent to me by a good friend on the website, but i was wondering. Did they ever make a CB for the 1200's because, i dont think it will mount right. IDK

More specifically blocked arteries? Recently I been told I have "mild" blockage in my lower heart. I don't know what mild means. But I been wondering, what percentage of North American men aged 50 or older walking into a doctors office "wouldn't" have some blockage. In other words would you think it might be common considering our life style in the later 50 yrs? Sure some won't...but over all? Just wondering!!!

Yesterday during my ride I was hearing a sound like a flat spot hitting the pavement coming from my front tire. Kind of a slap---slap---slap sound. I could not find any kind of cupped out place on the tire. Now I am wondering if it might be a sepration of the belts. Anyone ever have this or something similar? The tire is a Metz.

My bike for some reason came without the CB unit under the trunk and no CB antennae. Why it was like that, I have no idea. I can only assume the original owner took it off for some reason, but never gave it to the 2nd owner (who I bought it from). I can't seem to find these things anywhere, radios aren't too hard to find, but the CB unit is. So just wondering if someone might have one they could part with or know where to look? 2006 RSV. Also looking for the passenger grab handles as well.

hi again,i was wondering about the rear suspension.i have an 83 venture with the manual air valve.i have been reading about the air pressure,different people ride with different air pressure.i was checking the bike and it seem to not have any air in the rear.i can tell when i get on it, it seem to be low.i hear it squeak like its all the way down on the shock i guess.i want to try to put air in it but not to much to hurt anything.i put a little in the front and i could see it rise real fast.i was wondering about the back.the wife wants to ride and i dont want her first ride to be bumpy and bottoming out. -

My Bike does not have the factory CD player. I was thinking of putting one in but not quite sure I want to give up the space in my Trunk or saddlebags also curious how well they work on a motorcycle as far as skipping? Was wondering if anyone had any input on this like if you have 1 and had it to do all over would you install another?

Have to take my daughter to Detroit Sat. morning. Viewing a thing about a Veterinary grad. college that is in St. Kits (?) She has been accepted at this one and is waiting on a couple more. Better than the 4 wait lists she was put on last year. I have map quested this place and have a gps, but I was wondering is it is in a decent area, etc. Has anyone heard of this place.
