I have a shock that came off by trike.Someone is wanting to buy it.the shock had 249 miles on it when removed. What would the shock be worth to sell. I don't know what the price should be

Wife decided since she has only ridden a few times in the last 2 years (1000 miles or less) we should sell her bike and use the $$ elsewhere. But she did throw in that she will get another in a few years. I am listing in the VR Classifieds.

Ok, she is getting better...now she's just an imp....her personality is really starting to show, still stubborn and she is a thief. She has learned to open cupboards and loves frosted flakes and bananas...We DO NOT feed her people food, but take your eyes off of her for 30 seconds and she will find the one thing you don't want her to have..wouldn't sell her for a million bucks ( 2 million?.... you betcha) ps..the last pic is of another little imp and his friend who hangs around here from time to time

I have an 88 venture with no radio/CB/intercom and would really like to have them. Does anyone know how hard it would be to install them or does anyone know of an aftermarket system I could get. I would like to have all three of them. I see a lot of people junking out bikes does anyone have a complete system they would like to sell?

I am looking for the CB panel, both the base piece that mounts to the fairing, and the actual console part, that the CB and CLASS system mount into. The panel is P/N#: 26H-2837M-01-00, according to the Yamaha website. I have tried E-Bay, and various other places. But no success yet. Does anyone have one they can sell, or part with. If so, please let me know. Thanks

I have a chance to buy a 1996 HD Heritage Softail Classic with about 10k miles on it. Has everything and is bone stock. Well maintained bike. Always stored inside and heated garage. All maint. done by HD dealer. Seller wants $7-7,500 for it. I think it's a good deal, but I want to flip it in the spring for about $9,000. Any thoughts? Might even keep it and sell the 95 HD. Just something more fun to talk about than flame wars, etc. By the way if you have not looked, Gary N. is doing better. Wish I could do something for him. Does anyone know of a Santa icon I can click and paste?

My son asked if he could upgrade to a lager bike this year. He is over six feet tall and the Shadow was too small for him. He wanted a bike with hard bags that could be locked. We looked all around at a number of bikes and he is the proud owner of a 1st Gen. A 1990 Yamaha Venture Royal with 30000 miles (50000 Km). My wife and daughter don’t want me to sell the Shadow so they can ride it. Now I have 3 ponies in the stable to look after. True to form.... Here are some pics

I went to put new oil seals in my 86 last night, and it seems the PO, or his mech had left out a few parts when they were last worked on...AAARGH! the shop manual names them spring seat, and guide. funny shaped washer and tube piece at the top of the forks. i test rode it before i knew these were missing and it didnt seem bad, but id like to find the parts, the guide does not show available from dealers and junk yards only want to sell whole fork set ups. Any one have extra parts lyin around theyd be willing to sell? -

So I got me a Corbin seat for my 03 RSV it is new and I have ridden it for 100 miles I'm not sure I like it! Maybe I'll sell it $300.00 + shipping one more ride before I do.

Just wanted everyone to know I will be part of the VR family for years to come! Can't bring myself to sell my bike, and thanks to everyone here who didn't buy my bike, i'll be able to keep her. I was considering a sale due to possible cuts at the hospital, but hasn't happened yet (started trying to sell in july) and it doesn't matter if it does in the future cause we can cross that bridge when we get there. Took it out for a ride last saturday and it left me stranded at wal-mart, paybacks for not keeping it on the battery tender and not riding it for 2 months. Also noticed that left rear intake boot on carb is leaking fuel. But strangely enough I dont feel frustration or a strong sense of trying to off this thing. Instead I am thinking about sinking some more money into it and liking it!!!!! I think I have just reached that LIFER STATUS:confused24: I love this bike....no turning back for me! Big Mike p.s. Can't wait for Dons next maintenance day!

I am interested in getting a Driver's backrest as I do have some lower back problems from time to time and find that occasionally I have to pull over and lay out on the ground it hurts so bad. I know what causes my back pain and try to avoid it the best I can and usually I do okay. I am thinking, after talking to a few people that use them and reading a LOT about them, that this would be a wise addition for me. So, if you have one that you are not going to use anymore; for example if you are selling your bike and don't mind taking the backrest you have on there off to sell it to me that would be terrific! My preference would be for a DiamondR or Utopia backrest (or one that is comparable that will not requiring drilling into the bike for installation and has some adjustable). It would be a bounus if it is of the pillow-top type, but I won't be too picky. I have an 01 RSV. If you have one that you would be willing to sell me, let me know what you've got, condition (a picture would be fine too) and what you want for it and I am sure we can agree to a reasonable price. I have a white and tan (I don't know the color names.) 1988 Royale and need the chrome "bumper", turn signal, and lower saddlebag for the right side. This is basically the saddlebag assembly less the top as I have that in good condition still. If anyone has these parts and would like to sell them please let me know the details. I have seen the turn signals on ebay but have not seen the saddlebag in the tan (light brown) color from '88. I do not want to have to paint the parts, just put them on. Just lazy I guess... Thanks!
