Anybody have any comments as to the quality, and any problems, with this model Yamaha ?? I have been to a few dealers latley, and seen several of them on sale for what seems to be bargain price's. Any comments from anybody who has owned a ridden these bikes would be appreciated !! Thanks.

I bought a set of OEM mufflers off ebay but didn't realize I would also need gaskets since aftermarket pipes don't use a gasket. So, does anybody have two gaskets for sale? Part #3xw-14714-00-00. Thanks.

New Member here with a new to me 06 RSTD. WOW I love it.... but...my wife HATES the seat. I have seen many posts about different seats but wanted to know what other passengers think. I would love to install Venture Pillow Tops like so many have but cant find any available? Any for sale anywhere? Any advice? I would send whatever seats I get to Rick Buttler for his special treatment but need to know what passengers really like! Thanks in advance... Bob -

I put the old girl up for sale on facebook. and got 3 offers. im asking $1500. and have 2 that are interested at that price. they both live 3 hours away from me. im prety sure the bike is road worthy to make that ride back to there place.? as i claimed it was. i did tell him to have someone follow him. what i want to know is how do i write it up. bill of sale? so that im covered? maybe sold as is where is? no warrenty. implied? and no refunds? any help would be appreciated. also have to get it down off the center stand and out to the road. but i think we can do that if he wants it. this will pay off the balance on my car. and i can be stress free for a while.another bike will come along some day. and im not going away from here.

The old chrome tubular solo rack, pn STR-4NK51-20-00, has been discontinued and there are none for sale on ebay...I have a saved search there though. Couldn't find any on Phat or CustomCruiser Wondering if anyone knows of a part similar for sale? I see some flat steel, eagles and such, but really want the chrome tube fender rack. warm weather on the way i thought i might as well get ready to uncover the old girl. and do some cleaning. gas at $4 a gallon i think im going to ride it for a while. just to get maybe my last joy out out of it before she goes on the for sale list. someone left the key on ?? when i showed it a few weeks back:whistling: and i killed the battery. i took it to a shop to be charged and load tested. when she,s up and running and i hope i dont blow another rad hose. like last year. im going to see if i can get the rootbeer gang down here to help me get it out from behind it,s hidding place. like some folks here im not worried how the old gilr looks for now. just want a good run out of her. and if i get this small time job this summer. cutting lawns. i will be doing okay. i figure if i go for a long haul on it and something breaks on it i have towing. so i should not be afraid of trusting it any more. if she brakes down. im coverd. my knees still hurt but i think i can hadle the beast for a while. i see no reason not to ride it while it,s up for sale.. i think this is my year to enjoy it for a while or hate it if she brakes down. wish this oldgoat good luck.

FYI for those that use Rotella its on sale at Advance Auto right now, at least in South FL market. Gallon jug of T6 full synthetic 5w-40 is 22.99 (reg 26.99) and the 15w-40 Dino ROtella is 12.99 for a gallon (Reg 17.99). RSTDdog

Well I got the call from HQ they offed me a SSGT position and I accepted the job so i will be leaving again this summer for Afghanistan. What I wanted to do is sale my bike and when I return get another full dresser, But I want to offer it to ya first. Im not real sure on the what i want for it and I cant put a dollar amount on the bike because of the good times we had together but it does need some work. I have the stuff to get it done just no time with the getting ready and spending time with the wife and the girls.Along with that I have a Honda 79cx500c that im going to sale too. I hope to get pictures up in the next month so I can get things going.
