  1. but not with this Guy ! http://www.julienberthier.org/Love-love.html
  2. A guy is driving around the back woods of Tennessee and he sees a sign in front of a broken down shanty-style house: Talking Dog for Sale He rings the bell and the owner appears and tells him the dog is in the backyard. The guy goes into the backyard and sees a nice looking Labrador retriever sitting there. "You talk?" he asks. "Yep," the Lab replies. After the guy recovers from the shock of hearing a dog talk, he says "So, what's your story?" The Lab looks up and says, "Well, I discovered that I could talk when I was pretty young. I wanted to help the government, so I told the CIA and they had me sworn into the toughest branch of the armed services ... The United States Marine Corps... You know one of their nicknames is "The Devil Dogs." In no time at all they had me jetting from country to country, sitting in rooms with spies and world leaders; because no one figured a dog would be eavesdropping. I was one of their most valuable spies for eight years running, but the jetting around really tired me out and I knew I wasn't getting any younger. So, I decided to settle down. I retired from the Corps (8 dog years is 56 Corps years) and signed up for a job at the airport to do some undercover security, wandering near suspicious characters and listening in." "I uncovered some incredible dealings and was awarded a batch of medals.. I got married, had a mess of puppies, and now I'm just retired." The guy is amazed. He goes back in and asks the owner what he wants for the dog. "Ten dollars," the guy says. "Ten dollars? This dog is amazing! Why on earth are you selling him so cheap?" "Because he's a liar! He never did any of that crap. He was in the Air Force!"

    CCW

This old story out of Texas . Seems a guy cruises thru a stop sign, or whatever, and gets pulled over by a local policeman. Guy hands the cop his driver's license, insurance verification, plus his concealed carry permit. "Okay, Mr. Smith," the cop says, "I see your CCW permit. Are you carrying today?" "Yes, I am." "Well then, better tell me what you got." Smith says, "Well, I got a .357 revolver in my inside coat pocket. There's a 9mm semi-auto in the glove box. And, I've got a .22 magnum derringer in my right boot." "Okay," the cop says. "Anything else?" "Yeah, back in the trunk, there's an AR15 and a shotgun. That's about it." "Mr. Smith, are you on your way to or from a gun range...?" "Nope." "Well then, what are you afraid of...?" "Not a dam thing..."

  8. I hope this isn't off topic. This story really touched me, and I know there are a lot of ex military people here, and a lot of classic car lovers. This story may be of interest to both. This guy is raffling off a 66 Mustang fastback, to help with his bills. The deadline to contribute/enter is tomorrow at noon. http://johnfourniquetcancer.eventbrite.com/
  9. Watch right to the end..Unbelieveable!!! Watch the facial expressions on his face when he spots his Mom & Dad...Talented little guy Hit the link turn up your volume and enjoy!!!!!! http://www.angelfire.com/ak2/intelligencerreport/drummer.html
  10. Guy goes in an adult store and asks for an inflatable doll. Guy behind the counter says, 'Male or female?' Customer says, 'Female.' Counter guy asks, 'Black or white? Customer says, 'White.' Counter guy asks, 'Christian or Muslim?' Customer says, 'What the heck does religion have to do with it?' Counter guy says, 'The Muslim one blows itself up.'
  11. Well kind of. It is new to me and not so new to the previous owner. It is a 1967 Yamaha 180 cc. I was at my wife's cousin and he had to go out in the country to pick-up a tractor, so I went along. Well we were standing there shooting the breeze and I noticed a MC in the garage. So I asked about it and the guy says they were going to move it to the shed and kind of forget about it. So I am in there looking at it and it rolled back and forth so I wheeled it out into the sun light which it hasn't seen in years. It had been dropped while they were riding it in the yard and bent the handle bars and busted a light other than that it was all there except a side cover and the chain which they located a little latter. Well after all the dickering and hemming and hawing I ended up buying the bike. I think I may have been taken though the guy I was negotiating with, well it wasn't his first rodeo that is for sure. He was in his 80's and had been around. Well I opened my wallet and negotiated that last little bit I could befor I paid him. I hope I didn't over pay to much. Is $22.00 to much?? :crying: CASH TOO! My brother-in-law thinks I overpaid and got snookered and he is always right, just ask him. Dang I hate that when that happens. Oh well something to fool with this winter.
  12. Welfare Check..........* *A guy walked into the local welfare office to pick up his check.* *He marched straight up to the counter and said, "Hi. You know...., I just HATE drawing welfare. I'd really rather have a job."* * The social worker behind the counter said, "Your timing is excellent. We just got a job opening from a very wealthy old man who wants a Chauffeur and bodyguard for his beautiful daughter. You'll have to drive around in his 2011 Mercedes-Benz CL, and he will supply all of your clothes.* *"Because of the long hours, meals will be provided. You'll also be expected to escort the daughter on her overseas holiday trips. * *This is rather awkward to say but you will also have, as part of your job, the assignment to satisfy her sexual urges as the daughter is in her mid-20's and has a rather strong sex drive." The guy, just plain wide-eyed, said, "You're bull****tin' me!" The social worker said, "Yeah, well ... You started it."*
  13. Imagine finding this guy in your deer stand.
  14. Turn up the speakers and enjoy! This guy is good! http://www.wimp.com/harmonicacarnegie/ :clap2::clap2:
  15. I thought I might might post this here in case someone owns one or knows someone who does. I'm looking for a 2006 Vento V-Thunder XL Touring motorcycle. Been doing the Nationwide craigslist search on google, etc. Ideally need a black 2006, another color may be ok, but it must have the hard bags, backrest, crash, bar and windshield. The only one I have found so far with all of these except the color is this one. http://joplin.craigslist.org/mcy/1975237746.html It is however, a little far from me. I can't get a reply from the guy on email, and if I start talking about shipping it that sends off the scam alert and some people just want a local deal. If I can ever get a reply from the guy and you live near near Joplin (Groveland), Oklahoma and can check that bike out, let me know. So if you have one, or know of one, Please PM me or call (number in profile) and I can give you all the details. Thank You, Derrek
  16. I saw this on on a news broadcast on CBC this morning and the pics amazed me. I really hope we wont see anything like this chase in Yellowstone next summer at the Intl rally. But the bison and grizzly ran right past the guy taking the pics, they were so engaged with each other. Just another day in Yellowstone Park...... http://www.krtv.com/news/grizzly-versus-bison-the-rest-of-the-story Brian OOps! edited link so it wouldnt redirect back to my work mail server......

I have a 2005 midnight Venture and seem to be starting to have balance trouble. Not when riding but the slow turning with my foot down and sometimes getting on and off. If I convert my Venture dose any kit offer reverse ? I am not a Harley guy but more Goldwing guy. Are there any model problems I should know about before getting a Wing trike ? What about other trike bikes ? Buget is open........ thanks for any help Cb
  18. I was going to forward this to some of my friends on my email contact list, then it dawned on me.......... I know of another group this is more fitting for......... Here goes.. A distraught senior citizen Phoned her doctor's office. 'Is it true,' she wanted to know, 'that the medication You prescribed has to be taken For the rest of my life?' 'Yes, I'm afraid so,' the doctor told her. There was a moment of silence Before the senior lady replied, I'm wondering, then, Just how serious is my condition Because this prescription is marked 'NO REFILLS'.' *********************** An older gentleman was On the operating table Awaiting surgery And he insisted that his son, A renowned surgeon, Perform the operation. As he was about to get the anesthesia, He asked to speak to his son 'Yes, Dad, what is it? ' 'Don't be nervous, son; Do your best And just remember, If it doesn't go well, If something happens to me, Your mother Is going to come and Live with you and your wife....' ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ (I LOVE IT!) Aging: Eventually you will reach a point When you stop lying about your age And start bragging about it.. --------------------------------- The older we get, The fewer things Seem worth waiting in line for. --------------------------------- Some people Try to turn back their odometers. Not me! I want people to know 'why' I look this way. I've traveled a long way And some of the roads weren't paved. ******************** When you are dissatisfied And would like to go back to youth, Think of Algebra. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ------------------------------- One of the many things No one tells you about aging Is that it is such a nice change From being young. Ah, being young is beautiful, But being old is comfortable. First you forget names, Then you forget faces. Then you forget to pull up your zipper. It's worse when You forget to pull it down. --------------------------------- Long ago When men cursed And beat the ground with sticks, It was called witchcraft... Today, it's called golf. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Two guys one old one young Are pushing their carts around Wal-Mart When they collide. The old guy says to the young guy, 'Sorry about that. I'm looking for my wife, And I guess I wasn't paying attention To where I was going. The young guy says, 'That's OK, it's a coincidence. I'm looking for my wife, too...' I can't find her and I'm getting a little desperate' The old guy says, 'Well, Maybe I can help you find her.. What does she look like?' ' The young guy says, 'Well, she is 27 yrs old, tall, With red hair, Green eyes, is buxom, wearing no bra, Long legs, And is wearing short shorts. What does your wife look like?' To which the first old guy says, 'Doesn't matter, --- let's look for yours.'

  20. Were you the guy who brought all the wing riders to Memphis? Thanks for doing so if it was you. I wasnt able to catch up to them after the tour and I wanted to talk to the guy who challenged us for next year. If you can send me his email address, I would sure appreciate it. Got to get a head start on those guys for next years effort, they sound like a pretty serious bunch of riders with their fundraising abilities....................:mo money:
  21. Well kids, im gonna pull the trigger. My Avon rear tire wore out in less than 10k. I usually got closer to 14k on them. Didnt do anything different either. So......im looking to order a Kuhmo Power Star 758. One place had it for 52.90 with free shipping but its backordered for 45 days. I put in a price match request with a local dealer and ill see what he comes up with. He wants 69.00 for the tire. I read all the pros and cons and im still a bit leery but for the price ill give it a fair try. Guy at work put over 25k on his CT on his GW and does the dragon regularly. Since im not a twisties king of guy this may work for me.
  22. Met "Little Lizard" Raymond while riding the dragon last week. It's alway's good to meet another member. Nice guy.... Carl
  23. Its time to replace the cheap driving lights that I put on 5 years ago. I'd like to stay consistent with the square headlight but don't know if anyone makes them square now. Anybody know of some good quality square driving lights that would look gook on a 1st gen? Iowa Guy

    Boss Hoss

Well, the Boss Hoss National Rally is here again this coming weekend. There will be LOTS of bikes here, not just Boss Hoss. It is also the Mid-South Motorcycle Festival. http://www.bosshosscountry.com/ A few of us were discussing these the other day, and I found a few photos of the one I was talking about. This guy is from Vermont, and owns his own machine shop. He and his wife both ride Boss Hoss trikes, but he stretched his out, and it now has two, yes two 502 engines in it. He said it makes 1050 HP. The guy does very nice work! http://thumb9.webshots.net/t/72/72/9/76/81/2472976810035120669xZhGdv_th.jpg http://thumb9.webshots.net/t/55/755/1/34/65/2838134650035120669lnetac_th.jpg http://thumb9.webshots.net/t/71/71/8/35/7/2916835070035120669JIAAhR_th.jpg
  25. I stopped in at Iowa City Motorsports to buy gloves, glasses etc and sitting out front was this 1985 in really good condition with low miles. I wouldn't promote a dealers bikes but these older bikes seem to be getting scarcer all the time. Here's their web page if you want to take a look. Sales guy showed me a blond 83 in back that has even fewer miles and in even better condition but they haven't put up on the site yet. http://www.iowacitymotorsports.com/pre_owned_detail.asp?sid=02512628X9K8K2010J9I33I44JPMQ841R0&veh=1799554 Iowa Guy
