Found a 84 venture with a new paint job,runs great but......charging system doesn't charge.Needs to be charged after daily rides but other than that it appears to be a great bike...and the price is a STEAL..Where would one start looking for this problem?

I've heard it said over and over and over that the Velorex is too "wimpy" for the Venture.Let me tell you from first hand experience you don't know what you are talking about.I have over 20,000 miles on my sidecar and 90% of that riding in the mountains of NC.And yes mine has been over 100 miles per hour on interstate with the wife in the hack.Say what you want to and think what you want to but the Velorex is staying on my 99 Venture.I'm tired of hearing people bashing the Velorex on a Venture.Unless you have one you don't know what you are talking about.

Rain rain rain all day today and all day tomorrow.Gas is hard to find in western NC.Those that have it the lines are long.Things are looking better for next week.Hold off if you can.$3.99 if you can find it.

Schroaders Honda..http://www.schroaders.com/.....Closed Saturdays but open Sundays....Also they only take Hondas in on trade,no other brands.They are great people but the posted price on the bike "IS" the price.

I live 35 miles from Grandfather Mountain.Around the 1st till the 15th is the best time for the colors.Depending on what day you will be in the area give a shout and maybe we can hookup and ride,eat ,shoot the breeze or whatever.Or should that be shoot the bull?

22,000 on my rear brakes and that is with a sidecar and sometimes a trailer.As some of you know where I live there is a lot of braking going on.Just replaced the rear tire so I went ahead and replaced the pads.They were still good for a few thousand more miles.

Had I known sooner we could have hooked up.I live not too far from the dragon but work got in my way Saturday and today I went to the Cherokee Bike Rally.Maybe next time.

Sorry to hear your son went down.He had a nice bike.Glad he is ok and his pride will soon be restored.Didn' know you guys was in the area.I sure enjoyed our last ride together.Did you have the sidecar on and how did it handle in the twisties?

I did the one hour fixit and it seems to be working great.It ain't purdy but it should hold out till winter.Two weeks so far and it runs great and no leaks.

didn't go for the show,I only went to look at the bikes.I gave a donation for the cause and they threw a number on the bike and I was in total shock when they called my name.I didn't take a camera cause I only went to LOOK.I will check for their website and look for the pix then post them.

Not me.My bike took 2nd place.More than a hundred bikes and 1st place was a Victory with California sidecar and my Venture took 2nd place.Not too shabby considering there was at least 75 Brand *X * bikes there and several trikes.Also the burnout was won by a Honda Shadow.
