    Decided to can the trunk.It does have a chrome fender on it but I will replace it with a Venture fender and lights and maybe even a bumper.It still has the original shocks but I relocated them to lower the fender closer to the tire.Thanks for all your suggestions and keep them coming. http://inlinethumb43.webshots.com/44906/2363760830037297848S600x600Q85.jpg

    I think it would be better with 86 and newer bags but at the moment I have only the 84 bags.

    I bought a luggage tag from Wal Mart for a couple bucks that has the strap and the clear plastic window.I put the sticker inside and hang it from the handlebars.Easily removed and I just lay it on the dash in the truck when I drive it and it looks like it is on the windshield.Works great.

    Actually NO..I sold the bike to my brother in law.Richard,one of our Venture members,went through the bike completely and now it runs like new.So now I may be selling the 84.

    Last winter I used $1100 in propane fuel for my furnace.I bought the EdenPure electric heater as a secondary source. So far my electric bill went up $30 each month for the last 2 months.I turn on the gas furnace at 7:30 pm and off at 7:30 am.I use the electric heater between those hours and so far I have only used half a tank of propane.At that rate I will probably save about 500 bucks over the winter and the electric heater really heats good.. http://www.edenpurestore.com/
