When I start out on the 2nd Gen first it's a long ride then to the 1st Gen it's a short ride.When I start out on the 1st Gen first it's a short ride then to the 2nd Gen for a long ride.

That is my 6th rear tire on the bike since mounting the sidecar 2 years ago.The tire had 2700 miles on it before my ride.Looking at the tire it looked good for 2 or 3 thousand miles more.The sidecar really eats up rear tires,that is the reason I went to the Kumho car tire.

That is a Dunlop 404.As you can see there is more wear on one side than the other.That is due to a sidecar on the bike.Without a passenger in the chair I have a slight lean on the bike.The tire was inspected before a 350 mile trip and looked very good.That was the tire after that trip.Last 50 miles of the trip was every backroad in NC at 25 to 35 mph.

Took 500 psi to seat mine..100 psi 5 times.Got er did.

I have both. 1st gen for everyday rider. 2nd gen for trips, As for power...Either will do Comfort..2nd gen hands down. Trailer..2nd gen Handling..2nd gen Touring 2up....2nd gen These are my opinions and mine alone.

Got my Kumho mounted on the wheel today.Tomorrow I will install it on the bike.Can hardly wait for the test ride.

My rear shock lost all air and oil 3 years ago.I continued riding the bike for 1 year with the bad shock.I now have a sidecar on the bike for 2 years now and I have never had the bike to "bottom out".3 years now with the bad shock and no complaints.On the other hand my 86 will bottom out on the front all the time.

Made it home "in the cage" OK.A little sore from the surgery but was great meeting everyone again and some for the first time.Regardless of how I got there and back home I still had a great time.
