EASY.....with the sidecar on the bike.No one else wanted to give it a shot, and after all my surgeries I sure cant do it.

If RSVP stands for Royal Star Venture Person then I just did cause I am one.I can still dream about a carbtune on my 2nd gen.Maybe someday it will happen.

I was getting 3000 miles on my rear tire with the sidecar.I put the C/T on and now have 14,000 miles on the tire and it still looks new.C/T with a sidecar is a no brainer.

2000 Venture Need more power with sidecar

I have a sidecar on my 99 my Venture.I live in the mountains of North Carolina and never had a problem with not enough power.Yes,my gas mileage dropped about 10 mpg but I can live with that. My sidecar weighs 195 and I carry three 40 pound bags of sand in it when I really want to get fiesty in the twisties.You gotta love a sidecar. -

Rode over to Maggie Valley today and met up with Nighthawk for lunch at Salty Dogs.Then we rode over to Wheels Through Time museum and waited,and waited,and waited and waited some more then the bikes started arriving.I would love to tag along on next years run as support crew.I can see it now.A Venture with a trailer picking up broke down bikes on the side of the road.Hmmmmmmmmmm -
It's a good bike,just not for me.i am a 2nd gen person.Tried selling it local but everyone wants it for free.Think I could get more money by stripping it.

Debating wheter to sell the 86 or strip and sell parts on ebay.Decisions,decisions.The 84 will be stripped in a couple months.

The time has come to get rid of my 1st gen.This bike is just not for me.It is a great bike but I use it as a daily rider.The Venture needs to be ridden two up and out touring the country and not ridden daily to work.I am loaning the bike to a friend of mine that may be interested in buying it.If not I will place it in the classifieds.I really miss my Vstar as a daily rider.

Brakes locked up and still running 115?????????????????HMMMMMMMMMMMMMM.BTW,how do you like the looks of Skid's new tail light since you have first hand experience looking at it.LOL Skid,do us a favor.Next time try getting the bike into 4th gear at least.
