  1. I get nothing but a red page with SouthBank on it.
  2. Oh come on there are three within 20 miles of me.
  3. So that's what you kids are calling it these days!! Seriously where did you find a WII at?
  4. Ok, I was checking out Alaska Leather last week and came across sheepskin insoles. Now my riding boots don't have insoles anymore thanks to Krome Roses Boston Terrier so I decided to give these a try. I bought a pair of each thick and thin. Well this morning I decided to test the thick pair out and rode to work without my customary electric socks, it was 34 degrees. Normally I would have my electric socks and gloves for anything under 40 degrees but this morning I just wore the gloves along with long johns, leather chaps, and a leather jacket. Without the electric socks in 34 degree temps my feet get unbearably cold within 20 minutes, and we all know that once the feet get cold the ride is no longer fun. Well with the thick sheepskin insoles my feet bordered on being TOO HOT, I actually had to put my feet on the highway pegs about 30 min into the ride. So if you are looking for a cheap alternative to electric socks I highly recommend them. As a bonus they are VERY comfortable. http://www.alaskaleather.com/onlinestore.html They are about mid way down the page. Oh yeah I got some of that Monkey Butt Powder to give it a try and I am impressed with it also. I ordered it on Tuesday and received it on Friday, can't complain about that. These folks have always done me right.
  5. Praying for his safe return. Keep the faith.
  6. Here is the link. If you need any info just let me know. Materials are cheap, it's the hole saws to cut the baffles out that are pricey. It cost about $45.00 for the hole saws, the materials were less than $15.00. One thing we found out that wasn't explained too good was you want to get the fiberglass matting just past the end of the mesh on the side that goes into the pipe. This will allow the wire mesh to grab the mesh and pull it in. I didn't do that the first dozen or so times:doh: and the mesh would go in but the matting just slid over it and stayed out of the pipes. Then Krome Rose made the suggestion and low and behold it worked. I just hate admitting she is right. http://www.motorcycle-journal.com/forum/marauder-m50-secret-hideaway/32124-m50-fiberglass-rebaffle-low-merged.html Here is another good link for Volusias. http://www.motorcycle-journal.com/forum/marauder-m50-secret-hideaway/35241-m50-links-tutorials.html#post480384
  7. Have you turned the idle up? Is it spitting and sputtering while you are riding down the road, or is it running fine?
  8. Ok to clarify my remarks on the calendar. I was promoted 2 months ago and with my new position comes a lot more responsibilities, so that in turn cuts down on my play time with the rest of you guys. Nothing is for certain, we can only wait and see. My work or rather vacation time is dictated by the Marines and what they do if they are occupying my facility I can't get away. I have only seen my family once in the past 7 years and for Krome Rose it's been longer. Who knows what will happen with Obama in office. This is something we both want to do and will make every effort to get there, but I don't want to commit and then pull out.
  9. I'm not so sure how to take that one. This is what I was thinking about doing to my pipes. I'm just not sure how to go about it, it isn't as simple as doing her pipes. Ours have that taper at the end of the pipe. I like how it took the tap tap tapping sound out of the strictly debaffled pipes.
  10. Actually it's 25MPH but she owns the neighborhood, or so she thinks.
  11. That's cool, but I imagine those helmets are going to cost a bundle. I have been looking for the "Transition Visors" that were being used by NASCAR drivers during late afternoon/night races.
  12. Glad it's working out for you. I quit over 2 years ago and other than having the cravings for the first month or so I have none now. I can't even stand to smell cig smoke anymore. It literally makes me ill. Congrats for completing a MAJOR accomplishment.
  13. I rode a 550 maxim with crutches strapped to the side. I had a full length half cast on my right leg for about 6 weeks and my only means of transportation was the bike. Never tell a Marine he can't do something. LOL
  14. Flanders and/or 1 1/2 inch risers. Cured it for me.
  15. Understand that this isn't bandwidth it's the amount of data transferred. I have heard that Time Warner is test marketing this idea also. Short of getting a LAN Analyzer or a like program I doubt there is an easy way to accurately record how much data is transferred. I would assume that they would give you a program to monitor the usage. Otherwise they might be setting themselves up for a BIG lawsuit. They more than likely will allow you to log onto your Administrators account for your Internet provider and usage reports might be there. Sort of like a cell phone provider. You can go online to check minutes used. If that's the case they get you coming and going, literally. You have to log on to get the info and you are using more data transfer. I honestly feel that I shouldn't have to pay for somebody putting POP-UP's all over their site. I also don't think 5Gig will be anywhere close to what you will need with 5 pc's. Some pictures can be a couple megs. Heck you would never get to view all of Mechanics photos.
  16. Nope haven't seen one of those yet. Looks like it would tip over without having two people in it. Don't know that I would ride that in the mountains.
  17. Serious takeoff if not ripoff of the Carver (in looking at the videos it may just be a spinoff) but hey it's green and keeps you dry. May have to look into one of these. That is IF I could shoehorn myself into one. http://www.flytheroad.com/
  18. Oh look it's a Tour Deluxe. LOL I highly doubt it would handle any different with the trunk gone. I am wondering where he put the CB since he relocated the CB antenna.
  19. Thankfully you were riding out of your normal comfort zone and only doing 50MPH, if you had been traveling your normal speed I doubt even the hack would have saved your pink butt. Glad everything is ok buddy. If you need anything let me know.
  20. LOL I'm not worried. I actually have a set of brackets I made several years ago and gave to a friend who never used them. I just wanted to pull your chain a little.
  21. Sure now you stop making them. I just bid on a set of RK's on Ebay and now you decide to quit making them? What do I offend? Did I wrong you in some way? I thought after this past weekend we could be friends!!! Where did I go wrong!!! Say it isn't so!!!:crying:
  22. No longer available. Oh well.
  23. Glad you two are ok, bikes can be fixed.
  24. It sure was good meeting you, hope to see you at more get togethers.
